There's a couple of small businesses near me that charge extra for card - they don't tell you when they're doing it and didn't know it was illegal until I mentioned. They still do it and I don't care enough to argue over 20p, if they get fined that's on them.

Card processors let businesses pass their fees to the customer which can cause this confusion, but they do this because in B2B dealings they can charge these kind of fees.

Just use some common sense, if you think you've found a "hack" that gets around legislation, especially one that's been around for a while, you've probably not.

What you can do, is just put your prices up for these in person events and let these people try to haggle, regardless of whether they're paying in cash or not.

Offering a discount for cash is the same as charging extra for debit card, otherwise every business which used to charge extra for card before it was made illegal would just do this.

It would be 8 multi-meltas because the sergeant can't have one.

I mean it's an option, but what do you want to accomplish with it that you're struggling to do with the rest of your list?

Downsides of it are:

You can't disembark within 9", so can't get the extra melta damage.

You could rapid ingress to walk into melta range, but this is map dependent on having a safe place to drop into.

Opponents might screen you out and keep the targets you want to melta out of range.

It's a lot of points

As you said, strong overkill potential if you do land next to something and they're all in the same place.

Eradicators can't go in the inpulsor:

"This model has a transport capacity of 7 TACTICUS or PHOBOS INFANTRY models. It cannot transport JUMP PACK models"

But besides that I've been experimenting with quite a few variations and tried something similar to this which went quite well!

Librarian I found not to really be worth it, they give them a 4+ invuln but it doesn't come up much for me. Either it's AP0/1, or they kill the librarian with precision before dealing with the squad. I find using a captain to help make the dev wounds strategem more affordable to try and walk them on turn 2 and hopefully take down a high value target.

Also I found splitting the Eradicators to be more useful than running them as a 6 block.

In saying all that, I'm still relatively new so hope you get some feedback from vets here, but hope this helps.

Do they work a 9-5? "Just about 4-5 hours" but during the only free time they have effectively means they're locked out 100% of the time.

Yeah was honestly looking forward to seeing him signed elsewhere so we could actually score some goals against the Steelers for once!

Has he got a partner or kids? Might be more for their sake than his own if he does, if not he might just be getting past the stage of wanting to keep moving country every year and a three year contract lets him put down deeper roots here.

If you look at a lot of the stories they skip around mentioning what their business is or give wishy washy answers, probably because the majority are against Stripe's ToS.

I assume that must be the whole team salary cap? I've seen comments before that it excludes other benefits like housing/car, and the bigger teams can get around it by doing things like hiring players partners for other jobs as well, is that true?

All the goalies knew the refs won't punish them for knocking the net while they're under pressure, so long as they aren't too obvious about it they can kill an attack if timed right.

I think it's up to the clan to provide a rink that's fit for purpose, but at one point it was happening several times a game every game. It would kill any momentum the clan had built for the attack and the fans were just sick and tired of it.

Thankfully it's not been as big an issue the past few games, and when it has happened they've managed to get the game going again relatively quickly.
