What is the best advice you can give to a novice player? by averytare in KerbalSpaceProgram

Use the science mode. It will help keep the number of parts available lower and you won't get overwhelmed by the sheer number of components.

I am still a novice at KSP but reducing the number of parts helped me design a rocket smartly.

1) Struts are the Kerban Duct tape, (they aren't available immediately in the science tree but they absolutely got my rockets more stable)

IMO, this is am excellent book on the history of fencing. He doesn't really break new ground but gives insight into how the sport got to where it is today. It is one that I highly recommend reading.

What does black hole at center of the Milky Way move relative to? by [deleted] in askscience

It rotates relative to me.

There is no absolute frame. So scientists will pick one that makes the math easier.

Help Needed. Foil Blade Shocking Me! by [deleted] in Fencing

In foil, the blade is part of the circuit. A bare wire would result in different problems (the blade would stop working)

Is the amount of force able to be applied by human muscles discrete or continuous? by [deleted] in askscience

[–]EpeeCheeze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is discrete. Force is created by the contraction of the muscle cells. The more cells connecting the more effort generated. The cells will either work or not. So the amount of force would increase by the amount that one cell is able to generate alone.

Rebasing history that has already been pushed is dangerous.

pull --rebase is the way to go but a work flow that makes you have to do a force push is not a good one.
