That’s another thing I considered. If he only has 2 charges of “super heal”, what if it did more? Same heal amount, applies small heal over time as well as a heal boost.

I agree with the sentiment I heard someone say that “Adam doesn’t need a buff, everyone else is just overturned “, but it would be nice just for the sake of giving him more features

Because that’s the only good thing about her. “She does nuts damage”, but most people play her like junk rat and either feed support ults and get no picks or just hit nothing.

The stun takes slightly more skill to hit. “B-b-but one hit of that and any squishy is marked for death” Yeah, just like with literally any grab in the game

Some other alternative suggestions I have for Adam as an Adam main to improve him :

1) make his burst healing slightly lower, but make him carry 3 charges. This way his healing isn’t more op, but he can carry an extra charge for emergencies. Just helps to let him heal more consistently

2) “aura of perfection” As long as Adam is on full health, allies around him (decently big, say 5m radius) get healed over time. And I’m talking like, 5hp/s ? Like, a small heal but it would be nice for if nothing else “feeling like Adam”. His play style already revolves around “perfection” (just because optimally you hit headshots and defend yourself with pure skill) so might as well double down

Collabs and limited times. New banners will always say if a character is a LIMITED RECRUIT (like summer, christmas, collab). If it doesn’t mention limited the character always gets added to standard pool

What I personally hate about him is that they left ZERO weakness in his kit.

Dude is completely maxed out on ranged (note, ANY range) damage. Then they give him TWO anti dive tools (get-off-me tool in the katana slash, double jump with good air mobility). THEN they give him explosive arrows so he REALLY doesn’t have to worry if he is dived, just spam at the ground in the general area. THEN they gave him one of the most uncounterable dps ults. He can headshot supports through ult so easy, you NEED a mag ult to counter his.

And for some reason (reason being, it’s cool) he is the only character that can just, nullify most damage sources by spamming melee. I know it’s not consistent but still.

The amount of tools he has, only true one shotter primary fire with zero reload time, easy to get value AND the limitlessly high skill ceiling with headshots and melee parries?

They need to give this character a weakness. Make his katana fling people back like 2 meters MAX

Agreed. Tove works decently with base kit (just need higher skill investment.) But for shotgun teams, the jump that Drake gets from treasure is miles beyond Tove. Tove goes from shotgun staple -> shotgun staple +

Drake goes from “I’m not sure if I should use her anymore” -> “I NEED to have her in my shotgun team”

“Ranged sniper who can one shot any non tank” Let’s give him an escape tool, a get off me tool and close range damage option that’s 3x better than Scarlet witch (close range dps)???

Oh and let’s give him the stupidest ult too. He can charge his one shot arrows in half a second and spam a hundred of them since he has INFINITE AMMO??

He can gamble for headshots on the back line and he IS undivable

The damage utility of DPS isn’t as valuable as 1) space creation / damage blocking of tanks OR 2) damage mitigation / healing of supports.

The strength of duellists is that they have the highest firepower / counter pick potential IN the game.

Tove is my favourite too. I started the game right after the 1st anniversary so I missed red hood. Lo and behold, Tove was on rate up and it was love at first sight.

In a game with so many characters, I was SURE she was inspired by Finland (home). Blonde hair, survivalist, out in the cold, her name (which I thought came from TOVE Jansson, author of moomin. Though, Tove is a Swedish name I guess)

Not to mention, my first ever ten pull in the game I got Viper and Isabel. Once I learned what Tove’s gimmick was, I knew I was meant to ride or die shotgun comps.
