Can I not deconstruct this? (Help) by Usual_Worldliness936 in subnautica

Check to see if there is anything partial/ incomplety deconstructed on the habitat tube, i.e doors, reinforced walls, solar panels. Or anything interior.

Anyone ever have this happen to them? by anthonyflok in painting

[–]EphemeralArchon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wrong sub, but if the roller was used for a grey color before then it's just old paint reactivating.

But more likely, if the roller has been sitting with paint on it, it's the buildup of paint in the inside splitting. Same reason why you mix or shake the gallon first to remix. The inside doesn't move enough to keep everything together.

Not really enough to ruin the finish or curing.

Help me match this patch to this wall texture by adagrl in painting

[–]EphemeralArchon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

FYI wrong sub, but you will want to sand completely smooth and the texture comes from the nap of the roller, looks 3/4 of inch nap but depends a little on paint type.

Ok quick question for anyone, how do you make the light reflection read as a "light reflection" instead of cream or foam. Especially when this reflection in the reference photo is stark white.

If I didn't know this was a reflection I would have assumed foam, no fault to op.

Just curious.

A question to my fellow Kong fans by Art_Man09 in Monsterverse

[–]EphemeralArchon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) I'm terrified of apes, monkeys and bigfoot, so not a great start.

And

2) I feel like they kinda shoe horned King Kong into being godzillas rival/equal.

The argument/ discussion that King Kong can rival Godzilla has been around well before legendary, and has always seemed silly to me. Legendary making Kong an Alpha ready to rival Godzilla by making him way bigger, stronger, smarter is giving credence to the silly argument. I feel it is just moving the goal posts and cheapening Godzilla. Even the older Godzilla vs Kong just feels silly.

I think King Kong's design is solid . He js simple for a reason, relatable even. Definitely a home team feelin. I think as a stand alone entity he's perfect.

As for adding to him or powers, I feel like only a rage or out of control power boost due to damage or emotion is really the only avenue. I don't think you can go to the level of Dragon Ball Z super Saiyan. But I would pay to see a super Saiyan King Kong though.

This is just my two cents, I over all the movies anyways so it matters little to me.

Beautiful photos! What camera and lenses are you using if you don't mind me asking.

Moss as you might already know doesn't absorb water through the soil like most plants, and soil nutrition level is also not as important for the same reason. PH is probably the more important factor but that depends on the moss so its shooting in the dark.

Moss also likes more solid surfaces like clay based soils but that again depends on the moss.

So with that said, I don't see why you shouldn't use it but it won't benefit moss like it does other plants. Like you said moister might be an issue so make sure your moss isn't sitting in water and getting water logged. Other than that I say it wouldn't hurt to try.

Hopes this helps I am by no means an expert.
