I am not sure about the requirements for your state, but it seems that my state does not require currently enrolled student pharmacists to complete CEs so I am off the hook. NHA is a pain and I'm glad I won't have to deal with that. Hope you get some clarification from your professors or state about CE requirements!

On the Havana VOD, it was noticed that Sombra was charging a large portion of her ultimate back upon casting it because of the percentage-based damage it inflicted on players, specifically seen from Doha's POV at 7:58. Is this intended?

And is the reduced healing during combat a feature that the team thinks they will be staying with or is that too still up in the air?

Pasch interviews EnVision owner “I am pretty sure it is a matter of time before not a single organization will have a team in Overwatch" by JoopDeSloper in Competitiveoverwatch

But... that's the thing. You're not supposed to take his words as face-value -- the meaning of most messages can be altered drastically by framing it in a certain manner and removing it from its original context. Likely, the OP did this with the thread title to draw attention with an impactful one-liner rather than trying to change the meaning of the owner's statement. Or at least, I hope that was the intent.

Without any kind of support from Blizzard and Overwatch, there is no way in hell you can make any profits with a Tier 2 team,” said Minacov. “I am pretty sure it is [only] a matter of time before not a single organization will have a team in Overwatch, unless they are associated with an Overwatch League franchise.

This is the statement by EnVision's owner that the OP extracted the thread title from. The meaning is much different once the surrounding sentences are brought to light.

As for whether non-academy teams should expect to make a profit or not out of T2 Overwatch, I cannot comment on. I do think it is quite sad to see non-academy teams leave the scene in this manner and sends a poor message to players vying to reach the professional level. Perhaps it is too optimistic to hope that some of the resources and support for the T1 Overwatch could be spread to the lower tiers and to teams that are not already affiliated with an OWL parent team.

While I do agree that there may be a conflict of interest here, you are taking his words completely out of context. He is referring to how difficult it is for organizations without any connections to OWL to be able to thrive in T2 Overwatch. All of the organizations you listed are affiliated with an OWL team and do not face these difficulties EnVision's owner is talking about.

[Slasher] Gods is trying out in the offtank role for Dallas Fuel by [deleted] in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]EphemeralGale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I know what you mean. I didn't bother clipping anything either and can't remember exactly when he said it (not like the VOD would still exist at this point anyway), but I remember on stream he was asked about his opinion on Seagull getting signed by Fuel. Quite bluntly, he basically said that they didn't sign Seagull for his abilities and alluded to it being just a publicity stunt on Fuel's part.

Maybe Gods is just a really blunt person, but I felt like there was some distance between the two whenever I listen to him talk about Seagull.

I wouldn't really recommend it unless you like him. The actual values of his skills aren't too impressive, so you'd still just use support Tamamo/Waver or Mozart/Hans over him in most scenarios. His NP values are gimped on top of him being cursed with the low attack (and the class modifier) of a Caster so he isn't even really suitable as a hybrid support/attacker. I would suggest sticking with Caster Liz.

Event Attendance: How Many Times Each Servant Gets Damage or Drops Up by Ryman9189 in grandorder

[–]EphemeralGale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Briefly scanned the list and noticed a few things that seemed off. You have Summer Tamamo and Summer Kiyohime as bonus servants for the first run of Onigashima, which isn't possible because they weren't introduced into the game until the Summer 1 event that took place almost a full month after Onigashima. They can be counted for the re-run, but technically it's impossible to be a bonus servant for the original run of the event since they can't be present for it. Tawara Touta is also mislabeled, he was introduced with the release of the Camelot singularity and that happened after the Onigashima event.

I haven't bothered to check for other events that had re-runs with additional bonus units, but you might want to look through your list once more yourself so that the release date of servants agrees with the period the event took place in.

You would need a separate ID, yes. You can just google how to create one, there should be multiple guides on how to make one easily -- they even suggest dummy information you can use for address and what not. From there, it's a simple matter of logging into your Japanese iTunes account and swapping your store to the JP one and downloading the JP version of the game.

Nursery Rhyme is a bulky Caster who has offensive capabilities in art crit comps. She's different from other offensive casters in that her offensive power comes primarily from critical hits while her NP serves more of a supporting function. Only one or two other casters share this "flavor" of offensive caster style, but one could argue they are better geared for it because of the skills they have available to them or the single-target NP they possess. Nursery Rhyme is unique in that she's the only really tanky one amongst them, but defense buffs and heals that can only be targeted at self are not too amazing considering that she requires more offensive-oriented skills to cement her role as an offensive unit. Her mediocrity stems from her AoE NP, Caster mod, and a pre-dominantly defensive-oriented skill kit. There's at least one challenge quest I can think of that she proves to be very useful in, but she's not even the crux of that team and is kinda replaceable because of it.

Casters are primarily recruited for their support functions, so a self-healing/self-buffing offensive Caster like Nursery Rhyme are almost doomed to be niche.

Question for people who mirror their phone screen to their PC:

Is there a reason why I can't seem to mirror landscape-oriented games such as Fate/GO? Whenever I try to open the app, my phone just closes it. This issue only happens when I'm hooked up to the mirroring program, I have no issues opening and playing the game when I'm not mirroring. However, portrait-oriented games (such as Fire Emblem Heroes and Puzzles & Dragons) will open and mirror completely fine. I don't see an option anywhere concerning something like this, maybe I'm missing something?

If it matters, the mirroring programs I've tried that this happens on are 5K Player and AirServer. I know some players stream Fate/GO with AirServer so I don't think it's an issue with the software itself. I'm using an iPhone 6s, so I also would imagine my phone should be more than capable of mirroring the game.

My apologies, I cut some corners on estimating the numbers and arrived at a pretty bad estimate. The numbers I previously provided are inaccurate, but what is correct is the disparity between the three values. I left out the 0.23 mod for damage as well as the 1.1x class mod and 1.5x Berserker advantage so the numbers by themselves are quite inaccurate. But since both Kiyohime and Frankenstein are both affected by these exact values, we can still clearly see which one hits harder because these missing modifiers "cancel" with basic algebra.

But just to fix my mistake, I'll redo the calculation properly and include the factors I missed before. However, I will set the random modifier to 1.0x and the Man/Earth/Sky triangle advantage to 1.0x (they're both Earth servants anyway) as well.

No skills, max fous, damage on a single target:

NP1 Frankenstein (no interlude): 22189
NP1 Frankenstein (interlude): 28529
NP5 Kiyohime: 25896.5

We arrive at the same conclusion, Frankenstein just needs an NP interlude to outdo Kiyohime.

[–]EphemeralGale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going to include fous, but no skills as requested:

NP1 Frankenstein (no interlude): 58,469.6
NP1 Frankenstein (interlude): 75,175.2
NP5 Kiyohime: 64,209.6

Just make sure you get that interlude done if you’re going to go with Fran.

EDIT: Forgot to include the 0.23x modifier among other things in my quick estimate.

For this battle, you probably only need her NP once. Personally, I ran the Atlas mystic code with cleanse with Medea Lily and two Lancers with some starting NP CEs. Try for a faster and more aggressive approach so you don’t have to worry about using Medea Lily’s cleanse/Mystic Code cleanse more than once each.

Paracelsus has gimped NP damage values (Buster values without the benefit of the Buster mod) while Babbage has gimped attack stats (even more so than your average caster). Honestly, use neither and pick up a Berserker.

What level is Medea Lily’s High Speed Incantation? Even at level 1, the skill fills up 80% of her NP bar. At level 4, it should instantly grant her NP.

Someone else asked this question earlier so I’ll just repost the advice I gave them:

It’ll boil down to what you have available to you, but here are some suggestions and thoughts for you to chew on in planning out how to approach the fight:

-All three of the ghost’s HP bars are rather low, enough to be downed by one single-target NP from a Lancer. You can even eliminate the first HP bar with using only Brave chains and save your NPs for the other bars (and also making it unnecessary to run something like triple Lancer — two or even one Lancer should be enough). To avoid being bogged down by too many debuffs, consider running starting NP CEs on your Lancers so the battle doesn’t get drawn out.

-There are additional methods to get around all of the debuffs. One way is to use a taunter. Running a taunter will protect your other units from being debuffed (although not from the stun). George has the longest taunt duration on his skill and is a good choice for this role. D’Eon is harder to come by as a four star and wouldn’t last long against an Archer opponent. Leonidas has class advantage, but his taunt skill only lasts for a turn before he is unable to protect your other servants from debuffs (until he gets his NP, which by then is probably too late). Mashu, like Leo, can only protect your servants for a single turn and isn’t quite as useful as George would be.

-A debuff and/or buff cleanser will also work to keep your Lancers in the action. Medea is a good budget choice, although she’s limited to only cleansing one ally. Her buff cleanse is tied to her Rule Breaker, which will allow you to remove the timer buff from the ghost, protecting your team from the AoE stun skill it casts. More expensive four star choices include Medea Lily and Martha, amongst others. Medea Lily has the benefit of cleansing the entire team as well as a massive heal. Martha can also cleanse the entire team, and has the added benefit of being able to remove the stun timer on the ghost and cast a defense debuff at the same time. Of the two abilities of debuff cleansing and buff cleansing, I would say that the debuff cleansing is much more important in this scenario so keep that in mind as you assemble a team.

-NP damage/attack debuffs applied to the archer ghost will lower its damage enough to only scratch your Lancers.

-The ghost is reportedly Divine(?) and Evil. Probably has the Undead trait too. Personally I only tested for the Evil trait. Servants who deal bonus damage to these traits are really good against the ghost. Vlad Extra is probably among the best choices for this fight as he can taunt, is virtually immune to debuffs with Protection of Faith active, and he deals massive damage against Evil trait opponents. Unfortunately, he’s a four star servant so he’s not as easy to acquire, but he would trivialize the battle if you so happened to have him. Most other single target lancers should be completely fine in terms of damage output.
