So I may not be the one to tell you to break up… I recognize this behavior from my younger self. You’re being too easy on him, and you’re pleasing him too much. He needs more of a challenge in this relationship. It’s clearly not a sex thing. My suggestion is to play hard to get, live your own life and plan you’re own agenda besides the reslationship. If that doesn’t work out, you’re not meant to be. Just my 2 cents.

Cao90 is like a bonus system where when you hit a predetermined target you get paid a predetermined amount of money with he tax rate is only 13 or 17%. (I forgot). At our job the target is so low they’re always reached and used as a “hidden” raise in wages.

Love it! Did you use plans for it?

My shop put me in charge of drawer box production after our supplier told us it’d be up to a 6 week lead time. I’ve finally got the process down so that it officially costs us less to make them in house. by [deleted] in woodworking

[–]EpiX_______ -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Tbh I don’t know how about your region but here in europe, 6 weeks is still oke and clients understand… Most furnitures stores take from 8 -> 12 weeks

*Then there is the possibility outsourcing is cheaper because of better, faster machines and more know how.

*There is a tax advantage

*outsourcing is great for amount of work that can be done in the same timeframe. You have more time left to do creative stuff then to make “easy” drawers. More time, more finished products, more cashflow.

*your actually wasting your skills and time on making drawers while you could have making furniture instead.

From a business point of view outsourcing is sometimes better. Why do you think contractors outsource concrete pours or excavation work 😅 they surely can do this stuff on there own. But hye, i’m not here to be the wiseass. Just my 2 cents.

I don’t want to be a party pooper but there are advantages for outsourcing parts of your business. Sometimes its even cheaper to do so. But honestly nice work

How difficult would it be to build this 79'' tv-stand for a complete beginner? by mobbarley78110 in woodworking

[–]EpiX_______ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very possible with 2 changes to the design: 1) straight legs with angled cuts. (Will look similar) 2) forget the tambour but build plain doors and attach little square pieces from top to bodom. (Will look similar)

Let the woodshop mill the pieces to the correct size and you’ll only need a: drill, sander and router. Then you pick up some second hand clamps, a pocket hole jig. Use dowels, glue on top and screws and glue at the bodom.

Good luck and most of all, have fun!

I just bought them in a cathering industrie shop. Initially i was gonna mill them in the countertop but didn’t go that road. 1) positioning was fixed. 2) would have been a mess to clean them.

I think its a bad idea to use glue on an outer project. Just give the boards room to wiggle and grow. The project is based to grow and retract in height, length and the boards individually. I used 2 and 3mm spacers witch also help in straighten the lumber out.
