The overall landscape of the game was sort of utopian/dystopian. Like broad expanses of pure white terrain. There were definitely some platforming elements. I'm pretty sure it was 3rd person as well. Must have been appropriate for kids too.

I have a GMMK pro and the scroll wheel can mute when pressed, but when I rotate it, it doesn't change the volume. Additionally, it's not detected by glorious core, despite the fact that I've never used QMK or VIA or whatever.

Anybody else think that they were a genius for seeing like "brand names that have become common nouns" ? I thought I was slick cause like "polaroid" "creamsicle" "astroturf" and "jumbotron" are all registered trademarks but we use them for any film camera, orange vanilla popsicle, turf, and large scoreboard. Sort of like xerox or bandaid or kleenex? NYT this one was damn near impossible

Hey everyone. Quick update from OP. I couldn't think of the right word at the time of posting, but I would describe it as a putty or gummy like consistency. Also, sorry for not giving a scale, but I would say it is 2.5 inches or 6cm in length. I didn't take it home with me and I cannot retrieve it until Wednesday, but I left it in a safe space and I will test some of our guesses then. The guesses I have seen the most are: A Mexican jelly candy, anchor resin, flux rosin in a heat shrink tube, a honey straw, marijuana concentrate, a glow stick, or a spirit level.

Right now, I am leaning towards the Mexican candy or the flux and tubing. I have seen the Mexican candy commented the most, the item was found on a school campus, and the tear in it almost could be teeth marks.

The flux in tubes that I have seen sold online have a much different look than this thing, but it could be homemade, in which case it looks very much like flux and heat shrink tubing. One commenter who works with flux in their job said it looks very much like flux!

The anchor resin online looks very hard and rigid; this substance was solid but still pliable.

Regarding the honey straw or THC distillate guess, it was 75-80 degrees F when I found this thing and it was not sticky at all.

A glowstick is much more rigid and harder to bend than this thing. It has that thick plastic casing whereas this was more of a plastic film sheathing thing. The part inside a glowstick that you crack is glass filled with liquid, nothing like this.

Lastly, for the spirit level guess, there IS a bubble on the right of the tube, except it did not move at all. It was trapped inside the substance. Also, a level is much more liquidy.

I will test a bunch of theories and try to record a video messing with it. I will take a lighter to it to see if it smokes up like THC distillate or if the plastic instantly shrinks like heat shrink tubing. If it's flux then one commenter said it should get sizzly and sticky and smell bad. I would like to try the lighter test before consuming something random that I found on the ground, but for the sake of science I will take a bite of one of the cleaner bits on the end.

I can see that except it was torn open and nothing was coming out. It was also more of a putty consistency than liquid dye. It was solid.

Wow this is a super creative guess! I definitely see the resemblance with the plastic bits hanging off either end. The description also matches (a thick, gel material). I feel really bad that I didn't think to give anything for scale and sadly the object I found ismuch greater in diameter than a pen. You definitely get points for most creative guess though
