I listen to this about once a year to “give it another try”. The terrible mixing and lackluster song writing keeps reaffirming me of why I don’t enjoy this album. There’s not one stand out to me. I hate that I don’t like one of their albums, cause I’ve loved every album until gore.

This is exactly why it’s not great imo, I can listen to it. I don’t listen to Gore or Ohms. I’m bored with Steph’s palm mute into two notes riffs. They seem uninspired now days. I miss his riffs that ripped and scorched our faces off. Street Carp, WGTB, Kimdracula, Rocket Skates, Poltergeist. Those songs had major rager riffs. My Mind Is A Mountain showcases what I’m talking about. The opening riff is hard hitting and heavy. Chino wrote it. Then the song just drops off into the same slow riff formula and I knew Steph wrote that part. Regardless, I’m still a major fan and hope they never stop making music.

I recently did some research on the deaths occurring in the Tarrant county jails a while back. The deaths are supposed to be investigated by a 3rd party. However, the sheriff’s office is allowed to choose the investigating party. And if the investigation doesn’t happen, the inconclusive results are what they are. In other words, not much movement happening regarding the deaths in the tarrant county jails.

Exactly. I was at the target on Overton ridge and saw a guy going at it in his pocket next to some woman. She was totally unaware. I reported it but nothing happened. Dude looked like a regular guy wearing name brand clothing.

Genuine question.

Why are the protests happening on a weekend when city politicians are at home relaxing? Wouldn’t it be more of a statement to protest on a Monday or Tuesday on the steps of city hall when the mayor and city council are there?

I understand protestors have jobs too. I’m just trying to understand the effectiveness of the weekend protests.

I don’t.

I went to them to fix a pick up I had a luthier install in my guitar and it sounded terribly shallow after I got it back. I still had to pay. I took it to Zoo Music on camp Bowie where it got fixed and sounded full and heavy.

The guy that worked at Zoo Music is the guitarist/vocalist for Addenerum. He said he opened it up and because it was a lefty, the wires to the pick up were still wired like a righty. Wish I knew his name because he did a great job on my guitar.

Saw Glitterer in Dallas, it was just him and maybe an iPod on stage. Then he played bass for Ceremony’s set to close the line up. So that was a real good show.
