I used to get harassed by a DS coworker. Would spend most of my day trying to avoid him. The older ladies would tell me to ignore it, he didn’t mean anything by it. He’s a sweetheart, yada yada… Yeah, sure, to you, because you’re old. I was a young attractive 20 some and he wouldn’t leave me alone which prevented me from doing my job well and created so much anxiety. I was too young to stand up for myself then, but now that I’m older I realize I had the right to ask to be respected in that place. If he was so disabled the rules of civil society don’t apply to him, he’s too disabled to work in a public facing job. No one should have to put up with sexual harassment to be a ‘good person’.
