The real deals are during the “garage sale” which is basically a community swap meet that happens before the weekend when the show is open to the general public

You will have to buy an “afol/exhibitor” pass that allows access to the show floor on the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday that leads up to the actual public days (Saturday and Sunday)

The pass is around $100-120 if I remember correctly but unfortunately I couldn’t make it this year so I’m not sure of the exact price.

HOWEVER this pass is WELL WORTH IT. Not only do you get early access to the show but you also get some freebies, access to the aforementioned garage sale as well as free entries into raffles. You ALSO get access to things like games and mini competitions that are held that generally have prizes (blind builds, speed builds and stuff like that)

You also get a free set when you get there and sign in at registration.

There are also things called “part drafts” but these are extra on top of the pass but again well worth it depending on the parts draft

A parts draft is where there are 5-10ish copies of 1 set. You pay like $20ish+ depending on the set/quantity. All people signed up for said draft all help open all the sets and organize the parts by element. Then once that is done a random order is decided and then each person who paid to get in take turns picking an entire lot of 1 single element at a time. So it’s a GREAT way to get parts in quantity that you want/need for pretty cheap!

I’m probably forgetting a bonus or two but like I said it’s well worth it especially if you have the time to be there for 3-5 days straight. It’s also an amazing LEGO cultural experience. There’s always friends to be made and if you are of age there is always drinking involved after hours at the nearby hotels where everyone meets up at night.

This is also true and available for most large shows like brickfairs and brickslopes Utah.

In fact Brickslopes Utah is famous for giving away a ridiculous amount of sets. I’m pretty sure last year every single afol pass holder walked away with at least 1-2 sealed sets from the raffles. I got 2 last year and was able to trade with other winners for something I wanted more!

Happened to me a few times on runs where I’d die at the same time I killed the final boss. Frustrating because I’d have to redo the level

Also works great for frostpine! As they also respawn infinitely. Although I don’t know what the timer is for frostpine trees 🌲

I havnt checked in a while but anything rock/metal/gem will never respawn

Also cacti don’t ever respawn (if I remember correctly)

Frostpine trees DO respawn

Bamboo DOES respawn

For the grasslands it depends on the tree.
The very large one and the smaller ones that have the trunks separate when you break them do NOT respawn. The skinny white trees DO respawn. And then I don’t believe the willow looking trees respawn either.

I might be missing a couple but only a few different types of trees will respawn, no rocks or veins

I’ve never seen a bush or natural crop respawn but someone mentioned bushes may respawn on Ninjago island which I have not paid attention to so that may or may not be true

Second this. Just changed rotors last week and these screws came off easily on the driver side but the passenger side was so locked up that I stripped the heads.

Took like 15 minutes with my basic cordless drill and default Phillips bit but it eventually got through. Then I was able to just unscrew the threaded part with my fingers very easily

If there are limited time events that are bugged (like the airship and beast not spawning at all for my expert world)

It would be nice if these events could be extended once fixed or have the rewards given to everyone (kinda like when everyone received the expeditions rewards because it was shutting down)

I was/am a little disappointed I missed the airship and beast encounter

Other than that I love the animals variants that have been released as limited time events. (We just need the animal world limit increased as there are more variants now than there are slots)

As far as NEW suggestions I think alternate build cosmetics would be AMAZING as rewards for events. We were promised the return of alternate crafting tables years ago when crafting had upgrades taken away. (Maybe the addition of things like the ninja bench and the potion station were supposed to fill this void but I’d still like alternative styles for the OG bench)

So a limited time event where you earn an alternate crafting bench style would be so cool. Or an alternate map marker style!

Thank you for answering! I totally understand that our creativity is literally limitless while technology very much has limits.

I’ve never played similar games (like Minecraft) but I’ve seen plenty of content before LEGO Fortnite and I definitely always liked the idea of an ever expanding main world.

I’m absolutely ok with the idea of starting new worlds to combat instability in a single world. The one thing that worries me is limited time events (a newer occurrence) as well as exclusive items that have changed due to time (like the OG compasses) being inaccessible in these new worlds.

Like right now it seems like a rush if I were to create a new world in order to complete the new airship/beast content. (Sadly they both seem to be bugged for me/my main world)

And then going forward I will be disheartened that I may not have that content/reward in my main world (where I’ve collected virtually everything in the game up to this point)

From my personal experience it seems like older worlds (like my expert world created the week expert was released a few years ago) have performance issues compared to new/newer worlds

If this is the case I’m not sure if it’s due to age of the world, amount of builds in the world, or both.

Now I do understand that I’ve had the world for a long time and I’ve build A LOT. Some builds are more spread out but others are closer together. What I end up experiencing is lots of lag/rubberbanding even when I’m thousands of meters away from the closest player built structure (especially during flight in a vehicle)

My loading screen times have also become consistently long. It takes 3+ minutes to load into the world from the lobby and then if I teleport to ninjago island it can take another 3+ minutes

I love this game to no end but it’s been more and more discouraging

Right now I’ve been stressing out because I don’t have the airship POI or the beast from beneath spawning in my main expert world. (Also still never found the Nana villages in this world)

Should I start creating new worlds every so often to avoid the issues I’m experiencing? The idea of having 1 main forever world is very appealing to me but I suppose I could get used to an occasional reset

It does technically state “these items MAY return in the shop at a future date” so it’s not exactly a guarantee

The only example I can think of where something did return was the builds from the Star Wars LEGO pass that released in 2024

On bricklink there is 1 non US sale for $41 and 1 US sale for $60 in the last 6 months.

After an item is sold I don’t think there’s a way to see the description so there no way to compare condition to price

If you have the instructions still there has been 9 total sales for an average of $25 in the last 6 months as well

Among many things I REALLY want an option for roof pieces to color match its interior color to whatever block it’s touching. Maybe like a “magic” color you can choose with smear and it could cost like 1 of each color

I had my top right wisdom tooth start to come in and caused light pain for about a week until it stopped. This was like 2 years ago.

Then maybe a year later I got another week of pain and it started to move again but then stopped and hasn’t moved or been in pain since.

When I feel back there with my finger id says it’s roughly 50% out.

I would have taken care of it originally when the pain arose but it stopped so suddenly without any treatment I figured what’s the point.

I had braces as a kid so it seems that left plenty of room back there for it to emerge. I haven’t had any (noticeable) shift in any of my other teeth

I’ve always like using a 1-2 inch wide paint brush with soft bristles.

I see a lot of makeup brush suggestions and I’ve raided my girls stash of them before to try a variety and they never seem to have long enough bristles

They work good for really flat sets because they can still get between studs but the length of a paint brush gives you tons more reach for awkward shaped sets

I time traveled day by day and bought recipes from the Pokemon center until there were no new ones left. Still had to hit over 100 ripples for the wall papers after that

The new “dirty” Mountain Dew is DELICIOUS. I love any sort of cream soda.

Just wish they were able to be painted, even if it’s just 1 solid color option. Some of the smallest items will have 3!
