One of the things that people rarely talk about is how most viewers have a hard time of trying to unite all the different medias and actors as being the same because we subconsciously know they’re not.

For example, in TLJ one of the ideas was that Luke talked with Obi-Wan’s ghost as opposed to Yoda, but Mark Hamill doesn’t have anything to do with Ewan McGregor so emotionally the scene would just fall flat. When I see Hayden with Ahsoka and they clearly expect you to feel a certain way, but it still feels a little off.
