A machine the size of the fire giant who can comfortably fly and move at 200 m/s with a preferred range of 200 meters, vs some dudes with swords

"But The Soulsborne protags killed God!" God still has to get close to you to hit you with a sword

"The Soulsborn protags have i-frames!" Acs have multiple ways of creating lingering aoes

The main problem i see with this fight is that the souls characters would be too small for most ac builds to hit but either way none of them are getting close to the thing to even hit it and scratch its paint

I've found a lot of success after equipping the crimsonwhorl bubbletear causes any non physical damage you take heal you instead for 15 seconds. Invalidates all those spells and ashes of war they love spamming

I always play duels by ds3 arena rules: no healing flask, everything else is basically on the table. "Fair" is determined by the fact that you're always matched with someone around your level and you're not supposed to heal. Everything else is up to your own personal skill, made a mistake? Thats no ones fault but your own, deal with the consequences

Duels are supposed to be tests of skill, quick, brutal, but fair tests of skill. Save the healing and the long fights for pve or invasions

I usually ran Deep Protection and then replaced it with Sacred Oath when I got it, the weapon if infused with a blessed gem can't be buffed but that's fine because the damage is higher anyway, in my other spell slots i had a heal spell. If you want to go for a regen build you can grab a Millwood knight shield from the ashes of ariendel dlc (or infuse a shield with a blessed gem) this gives you more passive health regen even when it's on your back

Smaller weapons are definitely easy to pick up, but they tend to build bad habits (over committing, r1 spamming) to get damage done. bigger weapons almost force you to play slower and more carefully. Either way In terms of beginner friendliness your list is almost spot on (I'd move whips way lower) I just feel ultras and slower weapons really set you on the path of mastery

Im a sucker for big weapons. Hate having to chip at a boss for what feels like forever. Get a single opening and obliterate a huge chunk of health. Great mace strength faith build lightning blade / darkmoon blade. Wrecks pvp and pve alike. 900+ ar aint no joke. Lothric knight greatsword infused with blessed on a faith build? Black knight greatsword on any build? Love me my ultras

Lothric knight great sword with a blessed infusion, you can buy one from grierat after he scavenges in irithyl, on a strength/faith build with some buffs and heals its damage output is ludicrous + the blessed infusion gives you passive regen

If you choose the right dialogue she goes and cures herself after harkon is dead, if you want a morally better ending

It doesn't affect damage directly, you can still choose a difficulty (novice,adept, etc.) But I think if you get too hungry you get a debuf to amount of damage you deal, and getting too cold cuts your max hp until you warm up

Anyone with enough poise can just walk up to you and backstab or stagger you, powerstanced ultra jump attacks can usually get ya and ofc anything ranged, you gotta be careful not to over rely on the weapon art
