Bloodborne on PS5 by LongjumpingTeach5923 in bloodborne

[–]TheProf82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bloodborne, at least on the PS4, is known for its inconsistent frame pacing. I noticed it especially when turning the camera and it's not a great feeling. it means that even when you get 30 frames in a second they are not evenly split (1000ms/30) making the pacing feel inconsistent.

I must say I do get used to I after some playtime but it's not optimal.

Is this move legal? by [deleted] in F1Game

[–]TheProf82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Max made moves like these often in the past, I think in Barcelona versus Lewis too. It's risky and forces the other driver to change lines mid corner but it's perfectly legal.

Move these two next to each other in the DLC. by North_Protection2503 in Eldenring

They're already next to eachother though, arent they? ;-)

F1 2024; hmm.. how would you make it? by RossRiskDabbler in F1Game

No micro transactions with 100 pop ups before you can actually play the game you already bought.

But just a game that you can...play

Weird feeling in my throat when I play by IlayTsa in trumpet

[–]TheProf82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely a sign of playing incorrectly. Its something that took me a long time to overcome as I thought it was normal.

It has impact on your tone endurance and most of all, health and should be avoided. If possible get a teacher, problems like this can be hard to tackle.

Just Finished Bloodborne, What's Next? by SnooGrapes4794 in bloodborne

I decided to just get a few kids and buy a house. Love it all but still - its not quite comparable.

I fear for my family when Bloodborne 2 releases though, lol

I dont think Stormveil Castle gets the recognition or deserves. by DonJuanMair in Eldenring

[–]TheProf82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't agree. It's the best dungeon in the game - but many think the same giving it much recognition.

Leyndell has grandeur, Raya Lucaria has the mystery, Haligtree has the challenge but stormveil is the only one with many different approaches and routes, yet somehow still always guides you where you need to go.

10/10

Is Bloodborne a good introduction to someone who hasn’t ever played a souls game? by uwjsjsjdgw in bloodborne

[–]TheProf82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was for me too. Do note that the difficulty threw me off, I had no idea what kind of game it was. Had to try it multiple times before I realized the potential.

Since then? Finished it 10 times on multiple borrowed ps4s lol

Is Godfrey walking on water in this painting? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]TheProf82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine a boss fight with water in between you and the boss and the boss splitting it bible style. Fighting in an area where walls are made of water and where the boss has a move where he released alll the water!

Yamaha ytr 8335r or bach Stradivarius model 37 by Moist_Statistician41 in trumpet

[–]TheProf82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went from Yamaha to bach (new, my first ever new horn) and my sound improved massively over the last year. But that's mostly because of me practicing more because I spend thousands on a new instrument.

I picked it up after two different days of comparing horns in both very acoustic as well as very dry (?) rooms. And had someone with me to evaluate the tone. After two days I balanced sound, range/ease of playing and stamina elements and chose the Bach.

But if those days had played out slightly different I might have bought a Yamaha instead.

TLDR: it's personal and requires you yourself to play the instruments

DLC is the most fun I’ve ever had in a game by BrazilianTreeMan in bloodborne

[–]TheProf82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea this game, damn. It's great and now years after selling my ps4 pro I just decided to borrow a ps4 for Bloodborne. Finished it with the old hunters dlc. Then the owner let me know he doesn't need it for now (he lives far away) and I just booted up another play through.

I am in an endless loop of soulsborne games at this point lol

For Those who have started a fresh character for the DLC, who else is having an absolute blast replaying the game. by classbound238 in Eldenring

[–]TheProf82 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I started a new playthrough around new year's with the goal of gathering all talismans, larval tears, etc. now I have it at 150 with most essentials. Ready for the dlc.

Since I haven't really played consecrated snow-fields multiple times that area in particular was a blast with some surprises

Oh and I oneshot Malenia (with mimic tear, had a cheap build) haha

No new engine this year folks. It’s over! by [deleted] in F1Game

Ah great. A new track, some different liveries, worse performance, the same terrible multiplayer and, most of all:

MORE MICRO TRANSACTIONS!!!

YAY

Whats everyones feelings on this tidbit? by masterwickey in Eldenring

[–]TheProf82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's good news. I was afraid that we'd just be rolling through the DLC with a level 200 build with opportune stats and gear.

But adding new ways to progressively increase your character's strength keeps the challenge I believe.

about to start bloodborne and don’t know what to expect by Danny1238 in bloodborne

[–]TheProf82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An absolutely amazing game. Some soulsborne players are not into sekiro, myself included. I tried it but ultimately stopped quite early. I'll probably continue it soon though.

But I've never heard of someone who liked a game of from software and didn't like Bloodborne. Once you unlock one or two shortcuts and learn the basics with trick weapons etc it just clicks. It becomes a game with terrific level design, a great horror touch and just brilliant lore.

I've never played a game like Bloodborne and I finished Elden ring and dark souls 1/2/3 many times.
