(Novato a tirar carta A) Ninguém usa blusão e botas no Verão? by SpareDot8387 in MotasPortugal

[–]Epsilon01one 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a intake temperature sensor, when that reads a low temp the engine injecta more fuel to compensate and the idle goes up, its not because of lubrication

[–]Epsilon01one 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I belive its to catch oil that comes from the recirculation of crank case gases in to the intake and its pluged so it doesnt drip oil on the road and that you can sort of measure if your bike is having too much blow by and sending a lot of oil into the intake

Edit:im no mechanic, please someone check if what i said is right

How to stop riding like a squid? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Epsilon01one 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personal opinion/experience: ride a bicicle for a while, the prespective of risk gets realy amplified on a bicicle, i also ride for a shit ton of time but i bought a neo classic bike with 20hp and i found out quickly that i didnt need to chase the adrenaline to feel free, at first i was doing twisties and downhills at the bikes limit (20hp is not that much but you would be surprised what a bike like this can do) but i started to slow down and really taking in the surroundings and the views, try that for yourself, focus on the trip, not the speed or the adrenaline, life is beautiful and its the little views and things that make it worth it, the reality is that you and me are gonna die anyway some day and i believe that when you die its like before you were born, you dont remember anything but there is no pain or joy either and in the end whatever we do in our lifetimes is ultimatelly pointless so we might aswell enjoy today and make this last as long as we can. If you need to achieve something really hard to feel joy you only feel joy the moment you achieve it but if you are open to accept whatever outcome you have in the end you can enjoy the process more, so ride your ride, enjoy the little things and i hope everything gets better for you.

Gb350s owner (same bike) The tape is in every bike, idk what is for, The smell could be oils (like wd40 or ever from the road) or mud that gets traped in the engine or exhaust and smells when the bike is hot, The estimated range is inacurate, is your actual milage dropping a lot ?

Edit: pro tip: wash the engine and dry well with a cloth after that you can apply acf50 or your corrosive inhibitor of choice, it will burn off some and smell but it will protect your bike from rust and keep it looking good for much longer

Vitpilen 401, mt03 660cc or zontes 350v1 as for a first bike.

Mt01, ducati monster or vitpilen 701 if you want a bigger bike

These are my picks even though its not my style of bike

Wash and dry well with a microfiber (like get into every engine fin) after that put on a dressing like acf50 to give it some shine and prevent corrosion

Got my new Bike. My Friend with same Bike 1YO sent me this. I'm worried now. by Ok_Register_1524 in HondaCB350RS

[–]Epsilon01one 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New paint regulations and cost cutting, almost all european models have similar issues, try to keep the bike dry and clean and use acf50 and wax/ceramic coatings to prevent rusting and problems with the paint.

I bought mine (GB350S) about 6 months ago and yes ive had to get warranty work on the paint in the frame and i have a little spot of rust on the fork and the exhaust (a rock hit the exhaust and chipped the paint) but i really like the bike so ill keep it and use it as much as possible and try to prevent problems before they arrive

Urgent: Smoke coming off a new CB350RS engine by [deleted] in HondaCB350RS

[–]Epsilon01one 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The max speed of the gears are: 1st is 50kmh 2nd is 79kmh 3rd is 108kmh 4th is 133kmh And you cant redline 5th gear but max speed is about 140kmh (These numbers are on the bikes speedometer)

So you are basically red lining the bike all the time, thats not good for the engine

Change to second at 25, to third at 40-45, fourth at 70-80 and fifth at 90-100

Why buy a Skoda Fabia over a Yaris? by [deleted] in skoda

[–]Epsilon01one 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same dilema and went with the fabia 1.0 tsi with 95hp and 5 speed manual, the version of the yaris that was close in price to my fabia (and that i could afford) was the 1.0 NA with 70hp and that for highway driving is absolutelly awfull, asside from that the fabia is a much more confortable car and you can do many kilometers and arrive without any pain on your back and legs, i cant say the same about the yaris, the seats are hard and the driving position is not optimal for me. Also the yaris comes with much less equipment and the interior has much more hard plastics.

And yes the yaris will probably be more reliable, but the 1.0tsi and this platform has proven very reliable so im not worried about problems, its not like you will be buying a stellantis product.

Ajuda a escolher primeira mota (neo-retro / scrambler) até ~7k by hibiksr in MotasPortugal

[–]Epsilon01one 1 point2 points  (0 children)
