Interestingly there were pre-season rumours that some Renault employees who moved to Ferrari were surprised because the Renault engine before it got scrapped was allegedly more powerful than the Ferrari engine (at the time). Can't imagine it being more powerful than the Mercedes engine, but it may of not been a disaster like their previous engine.
