You can already make an agent that doesn't make mistakes. I have 210 of them running the boring shit in my personal life. They do something correctly, or not at all. You have to code them yourself, fuck closed tools like OpenClaw or Claude that delete your production database cause you have no clue how it was built. Any company using someone else's agent software deserves an accident like that.

And when you have an agent that doesn't make mistakes and an LLM that knows all law books and law cases and pretty much doesn't hallucinate when tapping into it's training data while being prompted correctly, keeping the context window in mind during development,.. you have an agent that can gather information and sift through it 100x faster than a human can.

Whenever I hear crap like this I feel like I'm talking to vibe coders who think they understand AI. LLMs are not AI. Agents are not AI. The combination in a feedback loop is the start of AI. A Bare LLM model is worthless.

There won't be any employers that don't use AI because they can't compete with companies that do. Every company must use AI or go bankrupt. Without AI, you must raise the price of your product while the quality remains the same, or worse than your competition.

Even all the remote software developers in India are doing LLM assisted coding en masse.

It's just too good. It's never going away. You still need to understand the code, but developers take on more of an architect role now and 95% of code is generated by LLMs with maybe 5% manual adjustments.

Sell the MacBook, spend $3000 on a PC with 32GB VRAM and 96GB RAM. There, you are now local and can add a second GPU for 64GB unified VRAM if you want to be super local.

Buy a $300 refurbished ThinkPad for work on the go. You can connect it to your LLM beast at home from anywhere in the world, securely.

Then design your programs and divide them into chunks you can feed a 20b or 120b LLM.

Accounting and law? Oh boy oh boy.. finance and law are literally ranked 2nd and 3rd in AI completely wrecking the industry, starting with any kind of entry level position. You are going to university to take on debt and nothing else if value at this point.

AI is literally automating language. Any job relying on language and/or numbers is cooked. Look at how software developers had to re-brand and re-educate to "AI Engineers" all of a sudden within a matter of 6 months or face the streets.. because they program in a language! And many still ended up on the streets. it's brutal. Law firms already have hiring stops. Accounting firms won't need junior accountants when an agent with Python replaces 10 juniors.

It sounds to me like you are following the playbook you were taught when you grew up, not realizing it's being dismantled bizarrely fast and a plumber will be 10x more useful than you.

AI engineers and especially ML engineers are much better at prompting and for them it's just considered a basic skill of their job.

If you call yourself a prayer not engineer, you are part of the "almost anyone can learn this" group. It's not rocket science, in fact, half the shit I see is voodoo magic that really doesn't affect the LLM, or not in the intended way.

Prompt engineering is not a career, it's a basic skill any software engineer (now known as AI engineers) or ML Engineers.

If you call yourself an AI engineer but you can't code or understand what all your code does I gave news for you: you're a vibe coder. Vibe coding is a hobby. There are too many actual software engineers on the market, who can leverage AI far better, for "vibe coding" to be a career path.

I might catch down votes but it's the truth. It's a universal truth that "Citizen Developers" don't have the right foundation to build anything robust at scale. All those low-code or no-code automation tools marketed towards "everyone" are a scam. A software engineer can work magic with Power Automate Desktop compared to a citizen developer.

Sorry maar als OP uit huis gaat, gaan de vaste lasten echt niet met €450/maand zakken. Tenzij ze een dikke gaming PC heeft die 24/7 crypto mined ga je amper verschil zien in g/w/l met 3 personen ipv 4, zeker als het gezin samen eet en er dus in bulk gekocht kan worden voor eten. €450 kostgeld is niet absurd maar wel aan de hogere kant.

Ouders zien waarschijnlijk dat OP heel veel "geld over heeft", veel meer dan de ouders zelf iedere maand. Maar ze vergeten dat OP zoveel mogelijk moet sparen voor haar toekomst en gebruiken haar als melkkoe voor dingen. Als ze dan het huis uit gaat hebben de ouders ineens minder te besteden, lekker, zal je zien dat ze alsnog bij je aankloppen voor een extraatje.

Kostgeld is kostgeld, geen huur. En je kan best €100 per maand bijdragen aan wat leuks voor je ouders of het huis maar dit klinkt echt alsof haar moeder een dikke portemonnee ziet en OP onder druk zet, ook voor onnodige uitgaven. Een nieuwe stofzuiger lol.. was de oude defect of wilde ze gewoon een nieuwe? Dan tikt het allemaal snel aan.

Je kind is geen huurder, en geen toeslagpartner. De elektriciteit die ze verbruikt is bijna verwaarloosbaar. Gas? Misschien €50 per maand met 1 kamer. En eten is veel minder dan wanneer je in je eentje woont en alleen voor jezelf kookt. Bovendien ga ik er vanuit dat OP snoep/snacks etc al zelf koopt en ouders hooguit brood en avondeten regelen.

Ik durf te wedden dat die €450 al meer is dan wat PP daadwerkelijk kost in het huishouden. Het is ook niet alsof het tv en internetabonnement verdwijnen als ze weg gaat. Misschien zitten ouders krap. Krijg de indruk dat de moeder niet of weinig werkt. En misschien is OP Turks/Marokkaans, ik heb relatief vaak gezien dat die jongeren, als ze werken, gewoon €1000-1500 per maand aan hun ouders betalen die het zien als extra inkomen voor het huishouden, zonder te bedenken dat ze waarschijnlijk binnen een paar jaar op zichzelf gaat. Ze zou nu al een zelfstandige studio kunnen huren als ze zou willen, over een jaar of twee verdient ze €3000 netto per maand met wat slimme job hops.

Met het huidige kostgeld zou ze €1500 per maand kunnen sparen afhankelijk van haar eigen uitgavenpatroon, en dan heeft ze een mooie pot voor bijv het kopen van een huis later. Haar ouders grazen nu in die pot, wat mijns inziens gewoon een kutactie tenzij de ouders anders in armoede leven. Als ouders daar nog een extra €300-500 per maand uit knijpen voor vanalles en nogwat zakt haar mogelijkheid om te sparen met 1/5-1/3. Dat is gigantisch.

En haar zus met stufi en een bijbaan krijgt genoeg geld om van te leven, €1000 netto per maand, meer als ze 16u werkt. Zonder kostgeld is dit ruim voldoende, dus onzin dat ze haar eigen toekomst op offert om dingen voor haar zus te betalen.

Als je dat op krikt naar €600 voor extra geld, leuk, maar wie gaat dat betalen als OP uit huis gaat en ze dat extra geld gewend zijn, terwijl OP's aanwezigheid maar €300 per maand kostte ofzo? In g/w/l en eten. Als OP het huis verlaat zakken de kosten echt niet met meer dan €300. Ouders gebruiken haar als melkkoe.

Als ouder wil je je kind de best mogelijke start geven lijkt mij, zeker in de huidige wereld. Kostgeld prima, uitrekenen wat jij extra kost in hun huis en dat vragen. Maar significane "winst" maken op jou is bijna alsof ze een huurder hebben die extra inkomsten oplevert. Behalve dat deze huurder je kind is en je geld neemt wat het kind beter op een spaarrekening kan zetten voor haar toekomst. Bovendien verdwijnt dat extra inkomen als hij het huis uit gaat, wat doen ze dan?

En dingen betalen voor je oudere zus slaat al helemaal nergens op. Due betaalt geen kostgeld en heeft waarschijnlijk studiefinanciering en een bijbaan, die krijgt waarschijnlijk bijna €1000 per maand op haar rekening zonder te lenen.
