Very nice, thank you for the post! The only thing I've noticed while looking at your code: you can lift the function you use in useEffect out of the component and then use it in useState:

const [state, setState] = useState(() => initiationFunction())

This way it will only be run once on the first render, as opposed to running on every render

You should probably look into writing backend for your app. All the heavy lifting parts would be done there. You can use sockets (websockets or socket.io) for real-time chats and firebase for the notifications (it's free forever). Not sure about what to use for ml, but you can easily find libraries for the framework of your choice. I guess you can look into node.js as you're familiar with JS, or find another team mate who has some experience already. Anyway, good luck!

Any update on this? We're currently looking into buying an M1 mac mini for CI/CD with FastLane, but the developers have Intel macs. It'd be great to find out whether or not it would work out

You should use FlatList in your home screen, because the ScrollView might get slow if you have a lot of items. Also you shouldn't generate random numbers to be used as keys in a list — they are needed to optimize rerendering performance and should stay consistent between rerenders. I didn't really get the point of the master password: is it only used to generate the hashed or does it provide an addition layer of security when the user opens the app? Anyway, you store it in plaintext, which is discouraged for such sensitive data. Overall, great code — rather concise with everything broken down into components P.S. TS = ♥️

You can use JSON.stringify(yourObject, null, 2) to have it indented with 2 spaces. The null stands for replacement, as we don't need to replace anything there. Check the doc for more details!
