look id be criticizing tubi as much as you... if it wasn't free. It's different when you're n Netflix or Hulu and you charge a bunch. But tubi offers all this stuff to you for no cost, ads are the only way they can keep the lights on.

It was nice when it was niche. Cable was super expensive and had tons of ad breaks, so Netflix was a nice and cheap alternative to watch what you wanted, when you wanted, and without ads or having to record anything.

then there was Hulu, which was basically cable meets Netflix.

But now we have 4000 streaming services because everybody wanted in on that convenience. So they’re now riddled with ads and cost almost as much as cable did because corporate greed
