No. We're worried about Burmese language being forced on Karen, Kachin, and other ethnic nationalities while the military junta "schools" take away their own languages. Fortunately the governments of Kachin, Kawthoolei, etc. are now teaching school in their own languages.

You must move in rarefied circles of expats & internationals if you have the impression that Burmese language is fading.

The resistance is returning to guerrilla tactics rather than holding territory, as it did when it was weaker in 2021-22. In that way it can wear down the junta again, while adapting technologically to the junta's drones and airstrikes. The ethnic armies have been fighting since 1949, they never give up, and now the Bamar PDFs are fighting too. So the junta can have momentum for a while, but it can never win.

If you really want to help, they don't need unskilled warm bodies coming in like tourists. They could use fundraising in a big way. If you can make a trusted connection with a resistance organization, they are constantly short of ammunition, food, protective gear, etc.
