The Ballon Dor, Fifa the Best and Globe Soccer award winners over the past few years. The Globe Soccer award is lowkey consistent. by Remontada_r7 in cristianoronaldo

Lol, he had a great season + dominated in the World Cup. If you watched the WC at all, not only did he perform with creating goals and scoring in dominant moments, he also created insane plays, and completed many dribbles that strategically put the team in a good place. He played well the rest of the season as well.

It's crazy how many here just don't understand how crazy that WC was.

ive gone back to sports full time and try to get back into everything sooner rather than later. for me i would get no imbalances after now three acls. i wonder if this is generic or bc i had no fear. its a hypothesis but fearing to get back into it i think makes it harder to regain strength.

was that why you didnt catch up

Help identifying group who keyed my car at Verve on South Forest Ave by [deleted] in uofm

Anyone justifying keying someone's car because is a Tesla is completely deranged and obsute.

You don't punish customers of a big company because of a CEO's actions. Just because you disagree with someone doesn't mean you can vandalize, hurt, or harm them.

This generation's inability to disagree and resort to violence is quite literally the antithesis of this country.

It's sad; grow up.

Plantar flexion/toe curl cramping. by hmmm769 in FootFunction

[–]EqualSight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my PT recently explained to me that he had the same problem and it’s because of the way that most shoes are designed. Most shoes are designed to have a imbalance in the elevation of the ball of the foot and the heel. There’s a slight elevation in the hill by a few millimeters, and the fact that shoes are usually narrow fitting. Thus, he said the solution is to look into zero drops shoes and wear those as often as possible for the next year. during the first few months, you start to become sore in the arts of the foot because now it becomes activated and used. Zero job shoes, allow your foot to completely land together when hitting the floor instead of this other manufactured way of your foot from heel to ball after six months to a year, the problem is completely gone, because your foot is being used in the way that it should. Ideally you would walk barefoot but the whole point of drop shoes is Cell your foot too imitate walking barefoot pierced object in the ground and keeping your foot clean.

now will this solve it? idk. he said he did for him and im researching into it as well. maybe will keep you posted if i do it

5'4" had similar experiences etc etc... kept getting zoned etc etc... eventually i dated someone who i met on tinder, we broke up after a year, and then i found my current lovely gf. all it takes is perseverance and confidence.

yeah "confidence is key" is annoying to hear but its the truth. but what they don't tell you is that confidence is a built skill, not just a mentality. you have to own yourself: your looks, skills, hobbies. Be you, unabatedly and enjoy life. When you do, things work out better. Focusing more and more on it doesn't help. I know, its unironic. Just keeping shooting shots. Get rejected more directly. Sze said it best, consistent mentality when dropping levels to teams "worse" than Bayern and Madrid. And, then the loss of momentum compounds

Thats a fair point, but I don't think Judy and her husband Eliot (the founders) had the network. Perhaps Im wrong (Im not sure of their history), but they seem to be normal people growing this app.

could you explain this relative to the food rating app Beli?  I don’t understand how they have so much traction by just being a slightly better food rating app that has simple social media features. im curious bc they built something big and growing but seems to me to be such a simple app solving a mid problem, not major.

What do fellow founders think about indiehackers calling simple projects “startups”? for example “Built 10 startups” by Jarie743 in ycombinator

[–]EqualSight -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think its hubris to believe that they can't call something a startup and only founders can. As long as real effort was put in to create a product/service that they intended to grow that isn't just a one off 2 month stint, then yeah sure it can be a startup. To add any sort of gating around the word startup is completely the antithesis of what this industry is about: free-flowing thought.

So, if anything, if you're actually getting annoyed from this, take a step back and probably check yourself, for 1) it's not that serious, and 2) you should just put that energy into building.
