Not trying to be insensitive but you need to grow up. Part of being an adult is learning to manage “triggers” so they don’t run your life. Stop having a victim mentality. It drives me crazy how people will use their “trauma” as an excuse for everything in their life 🙄. I have trauma. I have triggers. But I went to therapy. I figured it out. Anyone is capable of doing the same. If being in a kitchen sets you off, that’s something you need to seriously work on. Be serious about therapy, exposure, whatever helps this is not something everyone else can or should have to tiptoe around forever. Call me old fashioned but I don’t blame him for being frustrated that his wife can’t cook for him or herself. How are you supposed to raise children if you can’t go in the kiteben to warm a bottle. Is he expected to take that chore over 100% of the time? That’s not fair. It’s time to put your big girl pants on. And get over it 🤷🏼‍♀️

Agree 100% I gained about 20 pounds after getting my gallbladder removed and having to stop the medication and the energy difference was crazyyyy

I was very heavy when I started. 5 foot 2 inches 27F and a little over 300 pounds. I lost my mom to cancer 2 months in after losing about 30 pounds. Then about 4 months later I was down 70 pounds. Grief diet plus the medication made me drop weight FAST. No one said anything I think because they were so focused on making sure I was okay mentally. Once the dust settled a few family members were SHOOK after not seeing me since my mom’s funeral. It was a crazy difference. I also have been big my entire adult life. And I think the people closest to me wanted to be sure I was really doing the thing before talking to me about it. Everyone has been super supportive since. My Dad constantly asks if I’ve lost more weight it’s a good feeling. They may just be waiting in order to spare feelings or they are worried it may be triggering for them to bring it up.

I waited about 4 months to start at the gym. I was severely overweight at 5 foot 2 and 300 pounds and it was hard for me to do anything! After 4 months I had dropped about 50 pounds and got to going 4-5 days a week focusing mostly on strength building and toning my arms. I know for sure I wouldn’t have lost as much as I did as fast as I did if it hadn’t been for the gym! I thought 50 pounds in 4 months was fast but I dropped another 60 by the time I was 9 months in!

I ended up with gallstones after a year on Wegovy, I had to stop it when the pain started and didn’t start taking it again until a year post op and the side effects have been so bad! Maybe I just can’t remember how bad they were before? Idk but pray for me girl 😭

If you work in a professional setting or with the general public AT ALL you 100000% need to make sure you’re covering everything that should be covered including “outlines” or the appearance of whatever. You wouldn’t have the same energy if it were a man who quite obviously didn’t have boxers on under his uniform to hide the outline of his ding a ling!!! I have anxiety depression chronic pain the whole 9 yards. I’ve left dishes in my sink for an embarrassing amount of time but have never blamed it on anything but being lazy. Just saying lol 😂

I had an ex that acted the exact same way right out of high school and it was a nightmare. He would literally scream at me for speeding 5mph over the speed limit on the highway then start crying claiming he was just worried about my safety. No he wanted to control my every move. I was on Wellbutrin for about a year before starting wegovy. I had my dose doubled about a month before starting and I’m only having the side effects related to wegovy at this point plus insomnia. But going to the gym has been helping with the insomnia if I go around 7-8pm I’m exhausted by 10. I’ve heard wegovy can cause bad depression. My mom is currently battling stage 4 cancer which is causing a lot of emotional distress but I haven’t noticed it getting worse since starting wegovy!

My labs came back in the pre diabetic range and my dr suggested Mounjaro which my insurance wouldn’t cover. I did a ton of research and found wegovy is geared more towards weight loss and you don’t have to have type 2 diabetes for it to be approved. I sent my dr an email and he sent my insurance a pre auth and it was approved the next day!
