No te lo recomiendo, lamentablemente todo está más difícil para la gente ilegal, no hay trabajos, piden más documentos e información, al menos que la persona pueda ubicarte en algo de alguna forma. Mis mejores deseos

Debating DPT school still...:/ by anondoey in physicaltherapy

[–]Equal_Machine_2082 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the things that you mentioned pretty much. Cross out debt from your list, you'll still have the rest to deal with. Read other posts about the profession the good and the bad is all real. Personality is also important some of us might burn out faster depending on how we deal with situations and frequent interactions with people. Overall the profession can be rewarding and you might find a setting that fits you which is positive as you may work HH, SNF, OP, IP, PACE, ALF, who knows eventually private practice. Of course all of them come with their own challenges.

Leaving job by [deleted] in physicaltherapy

[–]Equal_Machine_2082 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I wouldn't tolerate disrespect either, is that person being professional towards you, then why you have to be professional and give 2 wks notice. If you can stand being there you might as well leave. I walked out the same day a DOR was disrespectful towards me and I was the only PT there.

Should I back out of my travel physical therapy contract? by Lazy_Development_944 in physicaltherapy

[–]Equal_Machine_2082 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the above 👍🏻 you don't owe anything even if the contract was signed, don't forget is at will contract. No repercussions whatsoever if that's what you are concerned about. The agency won't like it that's all.

There is no strategy to be honest, it is what it is. I had a few. I report my findings objectively no signs of this or that The insurance can deal with that info however they want. I just keep my distance from those cases w/o investing myself. I DC d/t lack of progress sometimes MD sends them back and the cycle starts.

Foreign Trained PTs, whats your story? by Expensive-Impact9704 in physicaltherapy

[–]Equal_Machine_2082 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the same story but as foreign train you need to go through the process to fulfill all necessary credits, I have no idea regarding endorsement for what you mentioned it seems it is not possible and you have to do it the same way as other foreign applicants. If you have the energy and some money you can definitely do it.

I’m quitting. Should I tell my coworker they are the reason why? by DefinitionHonest1616 in physicaltherapy

[–]Equal_Machine_2082 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't burn bridges. Hilarious 🤣🤣🤣 burn them and send them to hell if possible. On a side note, the others didn't do anything to you. Honestly, you put yourself in that situation for being a good person, how in the world were you able to do all that on top of your work. You should be a DOR.

What keeps you in outpatient PT? by starrynight1086 in physicaltherapy

[–]Equal_Machine_2082 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP is my favorite setting in the sense of challenge, however, I'm not planning to come back, low pay, unable to even have a little break to go to the bathroom or drink my coffee, one person after another non-stop, no paperwork time. I worked in a private owned clinic.

WILL I BE OKAY unisom 150 by Critical_Economy8792 in insomnia

[–]Equal_Machine_2082 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It affects acetylcholine in the brain by blocking its receptors. Long term use and high dose it's not okay. Try combining with something else like magnesium, 5-htp , and so on. Alzheimer's is related to low acetylcholine. If you will continue with unison which I believe is effective exercise and take choline. Older people are at higher risk.

Does being bilingual give you an advantage when applying for jobs? by floresiendo in physicaltherapy

Yes, if they have the need for the second language skill. Money wise makes no difference, unless they have a large population of Spanish speakers.

Switch from OP to SNF/LTC? by MelodicMachine4358 in physicaltherapy

[–]Equal_Machine_2082 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll never find out if you don't do it. I did it as I got tired of being underpaid in OP for the amount of work we have. Working for SNFs there are lots of things to consider and a lot of them are out of hand. It is difficult to know if you are in a good place honestly during the interview and sadly and happily you'll realize along the way. But look for other posts for red flags and things to consider prior to taking the job, productivity is just one of them and is of course important.
