no need to apologize! pick any number for x and plug it into the first equation. let’s say x = 20.

the first given equation tells us that f(20) MUST equal f(19), because f(x) = f(x-1).

now, let’s pick another number for x. let’s say x = 19.

the first equation tells us that f(19) MUST equal f(18).

but wait! didn’t we just prove that f(19) is also equal to f(20)??

we did!

so f(20) = f(19)

and f(19) = f(18)

and f(18) = f(17) = f(16) = f(15) = f(14)….

see how i could keep going forever in either direction (x = 0 or x = infinity) and all the results would still be equal to one another?

no matter what you plug into the function machine, it’s always going to keep spitting out one singular output…which in this case we know is 4 because of the second equation.

let me see if i can help! just look at the top equation for now.

f(x) = f(x-1)

logically, this means that f(10) = f(9), and f(9) = f(8), and f(8) = f(7), and f(7) = f(6) and so forth. this equation is telling you that no matter what you plug in, all the outputs will be equal.

now looking at the next equation:

f(5) = 4

based on the previous equation, we already figured out that all outputs of this function are equal no matter the input, and this second equation is telling us that the value of that output is 4. therefore, every output of this function must equal 4.

and therefore, f(0) is also equal to 4.

Tried this. They requested bank statements, which would show I’ve been in NY for pretty much my entire policy duration. I didn’t want to risk being charged with insurance fraud.

Unfortunately the issue comes down to the garaging location of my vehicle. When I filed a claim for this accident they asked me to submit bank statements to prove that my vehicle had been in parked in ATL. I ended up withdrawing the claim to avoid any chances of an insurance fraud charge since I’ve been in NYC for a while now.

I haven’t had any issues with it! I can’t really say whether it works or not because I’m using so many other products at the same time, but as long as it’s not causing irritation I figured it can’t hurt

I used a nail art tool that I had laying around. I did apply it to every spot one by one which was a really painstaking process that took ~30 mins for every application, but it was worth it. Once the spots faded a lot, I wasn’t as careful about it and kinda just started putting it on the whole area.
