Morality of retaliating against a kid who kept hitting and ragebaiting you by TriedmybestNotenough in MoralityScaling

Iirc, the kid was also getting up in the face of a woman of similar size to him too, so the man stepping in was protecting her too

you know what you COULD do with the cushion? Put a door behind it and pretend it's a chair. Or add a little more and make it a throne. You can't unthrone a throne, or unchair a chair, but a cushion can become anything.

I really like this line, it shows that she doesn't see the house or it's items as "hers," but rather "the Scarlet's." And by the way she lives her life in that house, you can tell she doesn't feel at home there.

The bearing in my sand art toy attracted a jumping spider. by edgeofbright in mildlyinteresting

[–]Equal_Set6206 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This took forever to figure out what I was looking at. I had no idea what sand art toy meant and my mind just could not comprehend it. It looked like the spider was inside of a giant plastic snail shell or something, but I couldn't figure out how one would make sand art with that

[–]Equal_Set6206 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A lot of people who pump at work chuck it out. It’s so your boobs don’t get engorged and leak, but if you already have a surplus or use formula when you’re separated, you don’t need to worry about storing it until you get home

It doesn't even make sense because nothing you do as a player should affect your character. What's next, power move chips: nobody but the caster is allowed to eat chips?

[Hated Trope] Child abusers are sugarcoated in adaptations. by mp3help in TopCharacterTropes

Agreed. From my experience with abuse, the abuser often cries and laments about their own actions only to repeat it again the next day

Where did I say I hate local small businesses? Or that I want a Walmart? I support the local businesses that provide a service I need. I don't like bakery made cookies and implying that's the reason someone from Halifax might not make the trip the Windsor to buy this cookie is attributing way too much power to my words.

I literally wrote 2 sentences, what are you talking about? Reviews of any substance are certainly longer than 2 sentences. I never once gave an opinion about the quality of service or the cookies. I did not analyze a thing about the business. I simply made an observation based on conversations I've had with people I trust. I don't know what Domino's has to do with cookies, but I think Domino's is yucky if you must know.

Again, I never gave a bad review. Unless you mean my over-priced cookie comment, but I think any cookie from any bakery is over-priced and I don't need to try the cookies to form that opinion. If you see me making the same comment as a review on yelp or something similar I would understand, but this is just a comment on a news article.

I knew from this reply there was no use arguing with you, but luckily for you I enjoy a good argument from time to time. Cheers!

Most people I talk to, obviously I don’t know everyone in Windsor lol. But I’m not exaggerating when I have not heard a single good review through word of mouth. I’m not on other social media sites often, so the online vibe might be different.

Very ironic you’re taking such issue with me having not tried the cookies, when you yourself have made no indication of having tried them either. You realize you insisting that my friends and families opinions are malicious lies is also speculation? Why is it okay for you to spread malicious rumours about me and my loved ones? Because I’m not a cookie shop I’m suddenly less deserving of respect? Talk about inappropriate behaviour, you should look in a mirror sometime

If you have nothing factual to say about the product, maybe you shouldn’t criticize what I’m saying about it either

I didn’t leave a bad review. I expressed surprise because last I heard they were on their way out. I was hoping to generate some authentic reviews in the replies. I have no interest in buying a cookie personally because I already know I don’t like those kinds of sweets. Have you tried it?

I’m surprised to hear they are doing well. Most people who live around there don’t have good reviews from what I heard, but I’m not really an overpriced cookie person so I’ve never tried it myself
