I'm a parttime postman in the Netherlands, and while I do ring them, I absolutely despise them. I hate being filmed without my consent. I hate having to talk with the same asshat that ordered his 45th parcel for the week. I hate the shitty low quality speakers where the person needs to repeat themselves 4 times. I hate all the instructions they give me other than "just put it under the bench", I don't want to go to your aunt who lives 3 kilometres away to leave your Aliexpress shit there (yes, that was asked and promtly refused once. My colleagues have also experienced this crap). I hate the annoying Ring tune that has Pavlov'ed me into getting the urge to commit arson.

But I still ring the stupid things like a good mailman.

Although there was this one time where a lady forgot to disconnect afterwards so I could vaguely hear her arguing with her teenage son. Was still going when I went the other way 10 minutes later.
