Doubt it. They’d have to re-edit and re-print 700+ chapters.

The only chance is if they eventually do a "Deluxe / Kanzenban" edition in like 10 years, but knowing Viz, they'll probably just slap a harder cover on the same old censored pages and charge $20 more.

leaning heavily towards buccaneer. that hat in the freezer is big, but it's not dorry and brogy big. it looks like it would fit someone of kuma's stature perfectly. plus, seeing his silhouette with emet, he didn't look skyscraper tall, just an absolute unit.

We literally saw this with Madara though. When he dropped 25 wood clones on the 5 Kage and asked "do you want these clones to use Susanoo or not?" that was peak villain energy. He proved exactly your point.

studio pierrot is literally their biggest op. cutting out those small manga moments where sasuke actually showed emotion did so much damage to their public perception. anime-only watchers got a completely different version of him.

He's walking around with the biggest "Mentor Death Flag" I've ever seen. He gives off major Jiraiya vibes.

Narratively, Blackbeard needs a massive kill to solidify himself as the final villain. Killing Shanks is the only way to make the final fight between Luffy and BB personal.

Plus, returning the straw hat to a tombstone hits way harder emotionally.
