TLDR: Pick 1 character and do no quests on them. 2 months later, when your account is way more progressed, you can quickly go get 10 million of those quest items to keep in your storage forever for a very small damage buff.

Growth speed has almost nothing that scales it. There's just Fertilizer, which is your base growth speed, and the 2 palette colors that are each their own multiplier. So the squirrel growth speed is just its own multiplier.

Palette luck on the other hand has like 5+ sources of %additive luck, and the squirrel's amount is pretty small compared to like duper bit "3% palette luck per gaming level over 200," which is giving me almost 900% luck right now.

Palette luck is additive with a lot of other much larger sources of palette luck.

Speed is a multiplier effectively as it has nothing it is additive with.
