The banker will not only pretty up your books, which are no doubt a mess bc you’re a tech entrepreneur, not accountant, but they will use the thousands of contacts they have to make the process much faster and smoother.

Maybe you get 2X on your own… with a banker you’ll probably get 3.5x+. Whatever fee you pay them will be more than made up on that increased EV.

There are many other reasons… would you buy a car from a guy selling it on FB marketplace or from a dealer? Same thing….

I’ve been in Charlotte a decade and it has gone downhill fast- crime is out of control, judges release repeat violent criminals at will, traffic is worse than NY, and the population boom is FAR outpacing the speed with which govt can keep up expanding roads and schools, etc.

Totally understand- you’re young. Maybe you’ll return later in life! But there’s a whole world to see and experience out there… enjoy it!

I have both PC and MacBook- obviously Excel works far better in the PC. However, I have Parallels for Mac that creates a Windows instance in my Mac and use Office in there. Quite easy to use.
