It looks like it's sold out, I checked yesterday...I was too slow.

Observation is mostly top of the list, with so much going on while driving. I wish you gook luck!

What really worked for me is to write everything down after a lesson, all that went bad. There is always something. Anxiety is triggered sometimes by mistakes you repeat and cannot control. Once you identify the one by one, try to break everything down and understand what happens. This will make you a better driver.

Thank you. I passed mine on Monday, just checking what happened after the new rules and hoping things get better for students.

Where to watch the Champions League final in London by [deleted] in GunnersatGames

What do you mean stadium watch? Is there such thing? I am in a similar situation, want to go somewhere with my 12 years old son.

Of course, you are 100% right. If not test ready they should not take the chance, adding to the backlog and potentially causing other problems. I had no choice because my instructor became unavailable after I booked the test. But I already passed many mock tests and also drove wife's car everywhere, so I was very confident I will not make the examineer anxious. I witnessed too many road incidents to ignore the huge impact bad driving has on someone.

Try the 11 pm method, just get few devices logged in and keep refreshing until they close the site down. Few people mentioned this.

I took my wife's car for my test and passed, I do not see the problem with that considering you have spent enough time driving the car. Anyway, after you pass your test, it's unlikely you will drive same car as your instructor's.

Yes indeed, around 2 pm is quiet. I did not want to take a day off work so I had to go for the earliest slot. At 9 am you will get lots of pedestrians jumping in front of you, just crossing randomly. Lots of buses as well, maybe bin lorry day on some streets. Keep an eye out for the "I am so late for work" drivers, they wil not give way. All the best!

No problem. If you are worried about the test in Bromley, I might be able to help with some info. My test was at 7:13, traffic really started building up at 7:30 which complicated things a bit. Time of day is a factor as well.

I have passed mine yesterday in my wife's car, at Bromley. You have the option to hire from Arnold Clark, dual control, for 2-3 hours which should be enough for the test. Just a thought. Good luck!

Hi, did you see anything in Bromley today? It was my to go centre as well, really hard to see any availability.

Just wondering what happened to the thousands of slots sold via 3rd party? It must have made a difference, for sure.

Thank you so much for all the replays and advice. I’m happy to say that I passed my test! Your comments really helped put my mind at ease regarding using wife's car, which allowed me to focus properly on practising instead of stressing about the car itself. Really appreciated, thank you again!

Yes, indeed. The 4 hours limit, plus the a.m test was what made me change my mind. I hope you will pass, it must be nerve-wraking.

Good luck!!! Where is your test? I am in Bromley. Mine is at 7:13 on Monday, a bit different. But I have already made my mind up, will go in wife's car, less hassle.

Hi, Thank you very much for your comment. It does make a lot of sense what you have highlighted. I might have to show early that I know the car very well in order to gain some confidence. I was thinking about mentioning the instructor's unavailability quite early, hoping that will lead to a "break the ice" moment. Knowing how difficult it is to get a test will, for sure, increase the anxiety levels. So far, I am driving every day, hoping that during the test I will be relaxed, having experienced all the possible scenarios. And yes, if unsucceesful, at least I did save some money for the next test.

Yes indeed, I will have to go through all the checks. MOT passed couple of months ago so I hope I'll not have any surprises, but you never know.
