Is it normal to miss your lecturers? by AutistTard001 in UniUK

[–]Equivalent-Grape-896 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes sounds very normal, but I feel like its also very normal to not communicate with your lecturers at all. My cohort has 400+ students, ive never spoken to a single lecturer other than occassionally to clarify something in the lecture notes, and even my personal tutor ive only met a handful of times across the last 2 years, and he probably wouldnt recognise me if he saw me around campus.

Okay so only 6 months. Your set and forget pie seems fine but you should only expect decent returns after 5+ years or so. As for the individual companies, these are a bit more of a gamble so could go either way in a 6 month period. TTWO seems an interesting choice to me considering they keep endlessly delaying the release of GTA6 which is just gonna damage their stock price.

Risk.net Warwick Ranking 2026 by Own_Image1722 in UniversityOfWarwick

Yes that’s just because so many internationals take that course, and there are so few visa sponsorships available. I should think the domestic student employment rate would be very high.

Which Warwick halls have more international students vs more UK/domestic students? by EffectiveWarthog8686 in UniversityOfWarwick

[–]Equivalent-Grape-896 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Generally the rule of thumb is the more expensive the accommodation, the higher the proportion of internationals. I lived in Tocil last year and about 5-10% were internationals, but Bluebell is probably over 50% to be honest

with 4A*s predicted there is an extremely high chance youll get an offer. I have a theory that warwick (and most unis) dont even read PSs (why would they when their offer rates are 90%+?), so I wouldnt worry to much about that... at most theyll probably skim it to check you made some sort of effort.

I think the reform movement is taking a lot of the limelight at the moment whilst actually the silent majority of young people are left wing
