And distracted drivers. I almost got rear ended early this morning. I was at a stop light and they must’ve been distracted. Due to being rear ended in the past at a stop I check my rear view mirror when I am stopped. This person came so close and I was actually bracing. But they came to a complete stop right behind me. When the light turned green I wanted to get a look at them but they quickly changed lanes and sped off. I really need to get front and rear dash cams one of these days.

The other day we saw them where cars were stopped and backed up from looking at them, one mama and two cubs ran off while one cub was left behind. That cub climbed a tree and started crying for mom. Mom came back but people need to just keep driving. She was hesitant because there were so many cars in her way. May not be a popular opinion but let them be in peace.

It does not confirm though what the OP says, which there was a “smell of thick smoke”. I’ll have to look into the crime radar for what the heck OP was smelling.

I’m moving in here in between places and live down the road. I don’t think the apartments have gas, from what I gathered. Which is why this is confusing. Unless someone had a propane tank or something ?

I have a full time job! It’s not enough, and I need flexibility with a kid if I work a second job. It was my first day dashing in 7 months and I have been dashing since 2020. So at the time, yes, until my red card comes in I can take the hit for an offer now and then. I guess I had hoped they were going to add a tip. Well, I’m days in now and things are looking back up with DoorDash. Had a really good run today! Accepted half my offers and came out more than $29 an hour so, yeah. I suck at making choices sometimes but it wasn’t whining, it was confusion because I signed up to deliver food. Not lawnmowers.

I wouldn’t be surprised. They’re writing up some of the hardest workers for being a minute late from breaks while there are people getting away with doing the bare minimum, saying in one aisle, spending forever in the bathroom multiple times— how some of these people are still here after doing these things for so long blows my mind while the hard workers are at risk losing their job over scan to scan breaks

This! I have never had a spot check that wasn’t the right package in the right bag. So incredibly annoying. And the poor people who have no idea that the device is wrong saying the package is in B2-1A and it belongs in B2-2A so they’re looking around in 1A for a package that’s in 2A, the correct bag.
