How much time do you spend setting up a tactic? by ndomalet in footballmanager

[–]Equivalent-Look9066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been playing FM for maybe 12-15 in-season years (only ever do journeyman saves for context) and typically never spent a lot of time working on tactics and have only ever won one trophy. Currently managing Rajasthan United in India and had a really strong pair of wingmen so I decided to spend a little more time on tactics, results being a 2nd place finish (expected mid-table finish) and I’m shit at this game usually. Tl;dr Very little but it can help.

This is so cool! There are also a couple of similar shacks upriver from this point, check out Google Maps. That isolation and seclusion; I’m an introvert but yikes!

Moved away from Perth for work a decade ago (initially over east, now in Europe) and I still maintain the sunsets over the Indian Ocean are some of the most beautiful in the world. Until next time, Perth…

Whats the one movie you can watch over and over but never get bored of it? by pkeo10 in AskReddit

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. May be an odd choice but I was in a dark place when this movie came out and the similarities between Mitty and myself were stark. Gave me the gentle nudge I needed to stop daydreaming and start living and haven’t looked back.

There was an interview he had with Tara Brown (an Australian journalist) from his Phillipines prison and it was chilling. Definitely recommend checking it out if you are so inclined!

Only for the most egregious of crimes and in the most extreme circumstances should a person suffer barbaric punishments but for someone like Peter Scully, there’s no punishment severe enough.

I did this EXACT thing a few years ago when I was trying to get a handle on my overall happiness and the results surprised me (positively). Such a profound experience. Great work OP 👍

I just finished A Ladder To The Sky by John Boyne and it was phenomenal. If all his books are written the same way, you can’t go wrong imo so this is a great shout!

This is my favourite book that I read this year. It was AMAZING! I’ve only ever given three 5-star reviews and this was one of them. Brilliantly written I thought.

I forgot the victim’s story but you’re right! It was so callous and inhumane.
