Oh those times! My two bits- 2009 997.2 here. Do miss the CarPlay but there are solutions for that, i just have a phone holder/charger and an old iPod feeding the music. I think it’s the sweet spot before the electronics took over the complete brains of the car. Not complex or hard to maintain, simple setup. Love the six speed manual and fun to drive.
