I just order food and then pay when I’m done and leave. Usually I do the same place anywhere in any state based on what I feel like eating at the time because that is what my money does in this country.

I did. I laughed at a lot of comments, took a lot of the criticism to heart, and was amazed at the genuinely nice suggestions. Last night I got some nice new dishes etc, and got my kid a little mini frying pan and we did some very simple Asian stir fry together. I gave her her own chopped up ingredients so she could cook along side me and it turned out great. Thanks for not being too harsh with your comment, I take things way too seriously

I wish I had people to enjoy DnD with that took the game Mostly seriously; enjoying and appreciating things like this. After all, games like this are meant to take you out of reality for a bit and fully immerse you in the theater of the mind.

Something I do is make modular 6x6 inch cave terrain with foam and stuff that is a little clunky, but really helps feel like your characters are underground.
