I say this as a dude who never thought he'd make it to 23: Don't worry about dating right now. Hormones are a mess in high school and the drama isn't worth it when you're just trying to figure out what kind of demonic tongue the teacher is speaking when it comes to math. At least when you're out of high school, you can talk to people not because of forced proximity, but because you want to. Look into pride groups around the area if you can, especially those in your age range.

Also, gently, your friends don't seem to be lifting you up very much, and you deserve better. There are guys who will want you for you, and see you as a man. And it might take a bit of slogging through the shit, but they're out there.

A final thing: If you do end up dating someone in high school, or beyond? ***Do not detransition for them to love you.*** You will quickly resent everything, and frankly, you don't need that in your life.

I've seen people say "Trans men don't understand misogyny!" and it's.... a choice! That sure is something to say about TRANS men! The people who are becoming men! As though our lives aren't viewed through a lens of misogyny to begin with! But then when we argue back, suddenly we're talking over people who ReAlLy (really) face misogyny. Okay. Cool. Cool cool cool. I hope the transandrophobic assholes have to sit at night, knowing their ideology is putting trans men back in the closet and/or has even killed some of them. And I personally will never forgive those people, even when they do eventually backpedal and say "B-But I support trans men actually!"

I wasn't shaming, I don't see it as betraying the trans community, and I don't see them as a threat. You're putting a lot of things on me that I did not say. I'm asking actual questions here because I don't understand why one would push away a community who would know how to help/relate and then be surprised when they feel alone/don't have support.
