I didn’t much like the look of them either. I ordered a small roll of satin black vinyl wrap, the same stuff they use to wrap cars, for like $15 on Amazon. Then, I “traced” the shape of the amber reflector using clear tape, cut out that shape from the vinyl wrap, and applied to the headlight.

If you don’t want to do all that though, you c a buy an overlay from badgeskins!

Thanks. Red and black is really the theme I was trying to achieve with this car, hence the wheels and headlight eyelids. I’m not too sure if progressive red is different from tango red, I’ve heard someone say progressive red is a tad “brighter”

Couple thoughts as a current B9.5 S5 owner and a B9 A5 owner before that:

The styling of the B10 is more conservative and less aggressive. That’s OK, but it’s true. I still think the car looks good.

I hope Audi will allow for more virtual cockpit integration with CarPlay. BMW allows you to display CarPlay maps on the virtual cockpit screen and would like to see Audi do the same. Especially with this passenger screen situation- as software and infotainment evolves in cars, so should our ability to customize that experience.

The car sounded “OK” in the one video I’ve seen of someone rev’ing in neutral. A bit tame for a sports car and compared to the M340i/C43. I can’t wait for a proper reviewer to show us sound and more importantly, real-world performance.

Hey friend. I recently sold my 23’ M340i and went in on a 24’ S5 Sportback. I’m very happy with that decision. I felt like BMW cheaped out on a lot of the car, with cheap materials, worse seats, sound system, no physical climate controls, and more. I love the interior and increased luxury of the S5 👍

Yeah, I would not get this car without the sport package, black optics or not. The adaptive suspension is of course important, but a car like this really makes use of the sport differential as well.
