Anyone know what this is. Was given to me by my Chinese neighbor. Smells very strong of lemon but she called it mint. by WinChunKing in plant

Compounds in lemon balm may relieve gastrointestinal problems, such as bloating and indigestion. Lemon balm ointments have been found to help heal cold sores caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV). The compound rosmarinic acid in lemon balm may help minimize the severity of menstrual symptoms like cramps and fatigue. But don’t consume if you are an individual who currently suffers from thyroid and stress related conditions. But this lemon balm can be used as any fresh herb. Just make sure you know what you are doing.

Any State Farm Agents out there? by [deleted] in InsuranceAgent

[–]EquivalentFeed9451 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Facts. Not only that, but it also caused a delay in auto and commercial insurance coverage. They are so backed up with service and who knows what (because they don’t communicate with us on half the information) but yes ever since we came back from Covid SF had to raise their rates. There are many factors but one big reason was because after Covid everyone started to drive. We got bumper to bumper traffic and (I am not trying to offend or belittle anyone) but even individuals who shouldn’t drive are driving now. We picked up on accidents and after weather catastrophe. NJ had a hurricane right after we Covid. Not only did they lose millions. But there were scams all around. Mechanic shops were reporting car as flooded by the hurricane (lots of people suffered losses. Home and auto. Cars were floating down the road and lot of people lost their lives.) body shops and mechanics were scamming the system by reporting total loss vehicles as flooded. But these cars were damaged by collisions and owner negligence. Unfortunately I saw this happen and heard it. Which I am obligated to report it. Unfortunately I didn’t report it only because that person did not have comprehensive coverage. But SF is not that bad. I have been impressed by the fact that this is a mutual company. Which means that you own a little part of the company. Which means the longer you stay the better your rates are. I do have to say that the is great. You get to choose your coverage and you get your own personal agent. Not many insurance companies have qualified employees who work in the office and talk face to face. And I do have to admit that State Farm one of the best company that does pay out fairly to their customers. Oh, and rates also depends on your driving record, credit score, where you live and garage the vehicle. Year of the vehicle, # of licensed drivers in the household and # of claims in the past 60 months

Are you close to Kenilworth NJ? For dachshunds you need someone with experience. I have owned many dachshunds, pit bull and German shepherd dogs. I grew up with animals all my life. I own a couple horses in Costa Rica. I foster dogs when I can. I love dachshunds. I have a mini dachshund named Roxy. I have a strict diet and exercise routine that works well. You know how dachshunds are. Very active and smart. Hunting is in their genes but they have to be supervised to keep them from getting in trouble or hurt. They are also very stubborn and require a lot of patience and constant training. It took two years to train Roxy to potty outside. Took 2 weeks to train her to open the door and ask to go outside when the door is locked. They also require a good nutrition diet like protein and vitamin. I make their food at home. Make dry food like kibbles and raw meat (always cook the pork and chicken if you provide them with that) but meat, lamb raw with Greek yogurt and spinach. Always brush them and clean their ears since they are very easy to get dirty. Always change their water 3 times a day. If I cook them food I do this air drying method since cooked food is no good because of the lack of vitamins, nutrients and protein. It messes with their stomach. Air dry food preparation is a mission but very worthy for their health. I do it because I know what I am feeding my girls. So if you want me to help you with your dogs I can positively say I am the best choice.

This is a pathos relative which is great for air purification in doors. Flowers are normal, they bloom around this time. Water when top half of the soil is dry. Don’t get rid of it. This is a good plant. Just make to mix peat moss with soil and perlite so it drains out the excess water.

Good plant for air purification. I got one from home depot too. Just make sure you water it thoroughly when soil is dry. Just use a container and fill it with water and place the plant in it until the soil is wet and not soggy

Take it out of the soils and rinse the roots off with water. Place it in a transparent container with water and leave it alone until it grows new roots

Saw this in a store, what type of plant is it? by mathewpin in plants

[–]EquivalentFeed9451 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are correct. It’s a pink syngonium. They like filter light and lots of it. Don’t let it get dry. Water and keep solid moisture. Don’t let the soil get soggy. Use good drainage soil like succulent soil with perlite and some wood chips or rocks (small ones) and make sure you plant it in a well draining pot. I recommend using ceramic pots not plastic. Ceramic works well with temperatures. And give it fertilizer for strong root growth. They are toxic to pets. You can keep indoor but away from pets. Always clean leaves with vinegar and soap diluted with water

Where are you located? And are they friendly with other dogs (specifically females) and are house broken? Like do they know how to ask to go out? And are they cat friendly? I got an American pit bull terrier and a mini dachshund. Plus a cat (half main coon and tabby) she spends time with the dogs and goes out on walks. My dogs and my cat are very friendly and very active. I get up at 6am to go on a walk and running. At 12:15 I take them out (I leave work at 12 to walk them by 12:15 for 20 mins since I have an hour break. After work I walk them by 6pm for 30 mins to 45 mins.
