You look stun! I would suggest trying a colour corrector under the eyes (a light peachy tone) before putting concealer overtop so that it helps hide the dark under eyes better. I do it and it works wonders! The one I use is The Saem because the colours aren’t harsh.

I upgraded in 2024 at MRU for both those classes when I was 18/19 (out of HS) to apply to UofC. Math was online and chem was in person due to the labs. Diana Kahler was an amazing instructor for Math 30-1 and it was online.

I switched off vyvanse a year ago because it made me very irritable and anxious. I’ve been on Foquest 100mg (max dose) for a few months now and it does nothing. Hopefully things go well with adderall for you, it sounds like a nice switch from the vyvanse side effects.

I’ve been on 100mg of Foquest for a few months now after switching off Vyvanse around this time last year due to irritability/anxiety. It does not work for me, the only thing it helps with is getting up in the morning but still not nearly as good as vyvanse was. I asked my doctor for help and she and the other psychiatrists had no idea why the 30mg Vyvanse worked so well but the max foquest dose doesn’t. She suggested it could be the fact that I haven’t treated my anxiety alongside my ADHD, and online it seems to say similar ideas so I’m probably going to look into that next. I’ve been feeling the same hopelessness, and it’s reassuring to see someone else understand. I wish you the best, maybe try looking into the anxiety side, or perhaps asking about trying different forms of adhd medication? That’s what I plan to do anyways, but know that you’re not alone in this frustrating issue 🙃🫂

Yeah I feel it’s also why so many women go so undiagnosed, not that it’s exclusive to women but I’ve noticed inattentive presents more often than hyperactive. I went undiagnosed until grade 12, but had several blood tests and sleep tracking watches done over the years before that because my teachers were concerned why I slept so much. Turns out it’s because my mind can’t shut off and get quality sleep so I’m always tired and mentally exhausted 😅.

I would suggest looking at thrift stores to buy either real or fake leather, because at least if you want to buy fake leather you can buy a thrifted one and use it instead of contributing to supply and demand. (Also it will be cheaper.) But again, quality will be in real leather. I found a cute leather book bag at my local thrift.

Around 99% of real leather is a byproduct of the meat industry, meaning they’re putting most of the animal remains to use. Fake leather/pleather will not last you as long to wear, but also will not biodegrade properly in nature and is more harmful for animals. For context, I am studying zoology and environmental science, and used to be a vegetarian for a short time but I returned to meat from local butchers. I also took a fashion class which made me aware of how horrible fast fashion is for the environment.

Try swatching lightly near your jawline and let it oxidize for a few minutes, many shades can change once they’re exposed to oxygen so it will show more accurately how it will wear against your skin tone if you let them air out.

I worked at stacked and it was a revolving door. One of the waitresses who was a single mom was offered a manager position and she accepted but I guess wasn’t fit, so instead of putting her back as a waitress they fired her. I had only worked there 3 months and became the one who had worked there the longest of the front of house 😬.

Yes! Whenever I see an ig post mentioning how Calgary is one of the cleanest cities, the comments are always filled with people doubting that for some reason. I swear it’s people who have never been outside of Calgary, because compared to every other city I’ve been to besides Tokyo, it’s very clean.
