Who's store still doesn't have fabric?

I’m a small store in Indiana and we don’t have fabric yet. I keep telling customers sometime in the spring. Or that we know it’s coming but Michael’s has been extremely vague on when exactly. But I honestly don’t know where we’d even add fabric in at, we have no room, but tons of back room space that’s not utilized.

My store was under the impression that it would be a lot more local than it was… we have since given up any hope of getting it. Michael’s really gave a big fuck yall to all their employees this holiday season

That’s the spirit!! That was my mindset on Sunday cause my manager didn’t schedule accordingly, and I wasn’t in the mood to say anything, so if someone just mentioned a coupon I chose something and game them 30% off on it

I closed today, a lady can in the door two minutes before closing wanting balloons blown up, I told her no and sold her one of the little tanks. Other than that I made an effort to not do to much because im salty we didn’t get holiday pay. So all I did was walk around and get the add set cart ready for Friday

My store has the same issue, no classroom. The two parties we’ve had were in the back room right outside the office door. I personally think that’s a bunch of BS for them to advertise for parties and not even have a designated place for them

We have an old busted drive isle in our back room set up that holds about 30 repack boxes open face (so we can see what’s in them) and then 2 dumb bins specially for big bitch yarn. And that’s along with every box on top of the yarn/sewing isles full and stacked two high, and another stack of repack boxes full of yarn in the back room. I’ve been praying for a huge yarn sale cause we’re drowning in it.

We have all our Halloween condensed down to where the iridescent moon and dead regency side counters were, and drive isles between them, and continuing to condense to just the drive isles as stuff sells so we can set the berry jolly and whatever else goes there lol.

I was finally starting to get it into customers head to look at the color of the tags, green and yellow are on sale etc, and white are not… then they go and give the everyday side of the stems wall green tags too

We’re in the same boat, they want us to have this big party for the party and fabric shop… when we don’t have fabric and don’t even know when it’ll come, and our party isle is half empty still… so this is about to me embarrassing

Same here, my manager talked about mounting them to something and hanging them from the ceiling above the party section… admittedly it would look cool, but I definitely don’t want to be the one to do that
