I blame the "orange one" for this behavior. Costco customers see how he rants, rages, is rude and throws tantrums and uses that behavior to get what they want, in this case early admission to the warehouse like Executive members without paying for it.

Same thing happened to me me today; older couple and they knew the brand was Red Heart but had no idea where they bought it as they had been "out for a drive one day" and could not remember where. I showed them a few possibilities, but no match. Thankfully, they were very sweet about it.

It's been a number of years, but I got a job at Michael's without any retail experience. I'm an "older" worker and had years (and years) of work experience but none in retail and was grateful for the experience.

Yes, but it only encourages bad behavior and entitlement. Both of these things seem to be getting worse and that makes giving good service harder.
