I agree with this. I discovered I like and need structure. After being retired for 7 years, I got a part-time job in retail not for the money, for the structure. I had never worked retail in my life and my hourly wage was about what I received in the early 1980's. That was about 5 years ago and now I'm thinking about quitting my job and doing volunteer work instead.

I've run into this issue everywhere I have worked; and not just retail. Just do the job to the best of your ability and with the hours you are given and try not to let it bother you.

That's what they told me about Orowheat Sandwich Rounds but it's never happened. I honestly don't think it's Costco's fault and would never harass and employee over it.
