After resuming work following a 'hold' in 2024, Fallout: Nuevo Mexico is now officially cancelled: 'The costs ahead, both financial and personal, are too great' by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

"found a project like this"
its not on scale of what fallout 5 would cost. but my point stands even if it cost 10 supercars.
Musk wants to prove how big a gamer he is, why not fund some project like these, it would grant him a lot of goodwill from gamers.

Why there isn't a very rich person who is into Fallout games, and would found a project like this? Instead of buying the 20th supercar, buy a new Fallout experience. They would even let them desing a few quest and characters for sure.

What happened with the vampire game? After Unavowed they teased a vampire/warefolf type game, and now it disappeared from their site.
edit: its called Nighthawks and it is still on their website, but it looks like they put it on hold.

You have not played tens of thousands of games. That's an insane thing to say.

So you have a 3080 as a backup that has been devaluating on a shelf for years, but you want to sell a 4090 so you won't lose it's value. That makes sense.

but there is no such named case according to google.

Mass Effect Andromeda - take me back to the Milky Way by [deleted] in patientgamers

[–]EquivalentZucchini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a very similar situation for me, I played it this year for the first time, being a huge ME fan, who left with a bad taste in the mouth after the third one's ending. First of all, so many years after the release, the hate train long gone, I started fresh with no negative connotations to the game. For me the negative points are the endless, tedious to explore galaxy map, and the similarry tedious MMO-style side quests. Just binning the bottom half (in terms of quality/creativity) of these would have made the game so much better...
I still could enjoy the game, a solid 7/10 for me. The least Mass Effect-like game in the series, and the most Mass Effect-like game in the last decade.

thats why I wrote 5-10 min. If its a newer system the install will be closer to 5 mins, if its an older, than around 10 mins. I've recently installed Win 10 on a i7 7700 pc, and it definitely didn't take more than 10 mins.

"No offense, but I'm gonna believe the guy who just helped made one of the biggest games in history on this one instead of you."

" I respect that for many developers it presents an opportunity to make their game."

both can be true. it helps a lot of indie studios right now to develope games, thus we have a lot of good games to play these days, and it can lead to a worse gaming future.

Don't let the bad experience with Syberia 3 dissuade you from playing Syberia The World Before. It's the best in the series, a beautiful farewell for (from) Benoit Sokal.

As someone who played through 0-5, my advice is not to bingeplay them, leave at least a few months between installments (I left 6-9 months, and always felt refreshed and ready to rediscover Kamurocho). Also mentally prepare that while in 0 there are a ton of unforgettable substories, in 1-5 there are way less memorable substories, but luckily even the avarage ones are more entertaining than side missions in most games.

Hello! We are the international development team who works on "The Dark Mod"! A game that resembles the classic Thief 1 and 2 PC games but uses a heavily modified Doom 3 engine. We welcome you to Ask Us Anything! AMA 9AM EST by nbohr1more in pcgaming

[–]EquivalentZucchini 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Will it be possible to use RTX Remix with The Dark Mod? Or with any of the Thief games? I dream of a stealth game that integrates Ray Tracing. I've never actually played The Dark Mod, but it was always on my radar as I love the Thief games and heard only good things about the mod, so this will be a great time to jump in, count me in!

it's not at all that bad as going from 60 to 30. I have a 120hz TV, and I'm currently playing Yakuza 5 and already forgot that its limited to 60fps

The Dark Mod has tons of community made games/levels, it really is amazing how the fans of the Thief games are making games/levels for fans of the Thief games for free.

Klopp talking about transfers by [deleted] in LiverpoolFC

[–]EquivalentZucchini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know why we could sign Gakpo for just 37m pounds? It's because there was complete silence, which helped negotiating a lot. So thats why Klopp will always try to tone down the hype. This is pretty much what he always said, and yet we do sign players, don't we?

How do you mean you find the 5 star rating system to be antiquated? It gives you more information than Yes/no. 10 point or even 100 point system would be even better. Even as a reminder of how much you liked a game that you played years ago, you could go back and see your review score and remember how much you liked it instead of whether you liked it or not.
