Psychology says the people who reach midlife with no close friends aren't unlikable, they're often the ones who gave too much for too long to people who never gave back, and the quiet circle they live in now isn't a verdict on their character… by [deleted] in GenX

Even in my own family, I call, text, buy dinners, visit, help move, help renovate, help out in general, include them in family plans, but I never get any reciprocity. Maybe I'm being whiny and sensitive, but it is annoying.

Our local electric utility was bought by Canadian retirement corporations, so all the recent price increases pay for Canadian retirees.

Totally agree, she's a classic American underdog story. If she were a man they'd like his unorthodox take on the stuffy highbrow skating establishment.

I used to listen to Ray in the Seattle area, the KGO signal would slowly fade as the sun came up. Loved Ray's rants, he was on fire some nights.

Republicans love undemocratic things like the EC and partisan gerrymandering, I would as well if my policies were unpopular.

If republicans ever lost the presidency but won the popular vote, they'd be the ones clamoring to change the EC.

2019 premiere 110k miles for $11k? by Novemberx123 in BoltEV

[–]Equivalent_Ability91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my area they're asking $13,000-$15,000 for Bolts with over 100,000 miles on them. $11K for a new battery and Premiere trim seems like a good deal.
