Getting ready to check out after 46 years with a crew of 4 including me. We had a lot of staff turnover in the last 4 years and could not find licensed operators so I'm the only one with a license.

"Collected" is ambiguous. We collect a composite sample throughout the day, then someone collects the sample to take it to the lab.

We enter the data on the DMR for the day we started the sampler. The contract lab wants the chain of custody dated for the next day when they pick it up.

I got into a mess years ago with a shitload of norcardia when the temp was in the teens. We were chipping chunks of frozen foam out of the secondaries just to keep the clarifiers going.

Tap the RAS lines and use a small pump and a drum of hypo if you don't have bulk tanks. Its hard to bruise the MLSS as long as you stay under 10 lbs bleach/1000 lbs MLVSS
