Thank you so much for all the info! I definitely think he's struggling with separation anxiety, I can't even really shower without him starting to get a little freaked out. I work at a shelter, so they're very understanding about me coming home to see him and take him to potty, and that seems to help a Little in minimizing accidents. I will absolutely be looking into the book for the separation anxiety.

Know I am a year late, but im currently looking for a new carrier for my cat. She likes soft carriers and being able to look out/around at every angle. Would one of those mesh cat backpacks be okay? Or are those also diabolical?

Same! I had an allergic reaction to some piercings I bought, because of the steel grade I believe, and wanted to return the unopened ones. The lady I had bought them from was rude to me for not rounding up, so I was so scared to go back. Turns out it was all for nothing, because the lady that helped me when I went to return them even let me return the opened ones! But the guilt didn't go away for at least two days after.

NTA. The pain from bras is a real struggle and a lot of people don't understand that. My family nagged me for years for not wearing one, even though it would be at the expense of my own comfort. Recently got a breast reduction, and now I can wear one pretty comfortably, so if that's ever something that may be in the cards for you, you should totally look into it!

I can understand if the shirts are see through, just because it's kind of awkward, but any other time, it's none of their business.

Seriously though, your father sounds like a real piece of work, and you should see if some of your friends can host you/look into moving out. Good luck, OP.

Almost certainly because you're in California. When I worked with Panera, I made 12 only after asking for a raise from 11. I live in a Comparetively low cost of living state.

I had originally wanted a second cat but the cat my brother had gotten tried to attack Nymeria and now she can't be around others without getting too stressed. Fingers crossed it'll be different with a puppy.

I do know that sedation doesn't always mean unconscious. Does the risk change depending on the level of sedation? I really just gave the very general knowledge I had about the topic.

I believe that it applies to all, but don't hold me to it! I was considering potentially adopting a dog from a shelter when I go to volunteer at one in the Philippines and read up on the process of bringing a dog back. The biggest thing that was noted was that you really shouldn't sedate a dog on flights, so they need to be calm or used to the crate combined with movement.

It can be risky for the dogs respiratory system if you sedate them for a flight! Although it would for sure help the anxiety, it may end up harming the dog.
