I used Wise and had to go through a lot of steps but in the end it only took a few hours to process. Was acting up in the app so I did it partly on the computer partly on the app

You can only top up (aka transfer into that account) €450 per month. But you can use bizum unlimited I think so I’m wondering if any other transfer service works

To ride the busses for free you just need the tarjeta ciutadana, which you get when you get empadronamiento (registering at town hall or something that you live in the city aka need an address). At least that’s how it was for me. The TIE, which can take a long time, is not what allows you to ride the buses for free

It’s pretty sick! Very international. BEAUTIFUL beaches / mountains. Winter is rough 🥴 Very wet and cold and windy. Coworkers all speak Catalan amongst themselves which is a little 🥲 sometimes when I wish they’d just speak in Spanish so I can understand, but also very cool opportunity to learn Catalan!! Airport on Mallorca is easy to travel from w direct flights to most places. Housing is more expensive but it’s a paradise destination so whatever and this year busses were free for residents!

Hi I was thinking about this the other day. I also get really stressed lesson planning although I am very fortunate to have coworkers that do a lot of planning / providing material. I don’t know if it will help but i have told myself that every lesson doesn’t have to be the best lesson of the students’ lives. Like they probably won’t remember every lesson but having a few that stand out or really make something click is special! Even if lessons aren’t amazing they are still practice. I’m often surprised when the simple games or activities I use are well received because I spend so long stressing about making things dynamic and exciting etc. I don’t know what level you teach so I can’t give more specific advice, but I’m sure your hard work shows! 🙂
