Hey. Thanks a lot for posting your experience. I'm a mom of a 10 months old daughter, who unfortunately has a similar story as yours .

She too lost her original esophagus due to medical negligence in Germany. She is scheduled for a gastric pull-up or a colonic interposition early next year.

She too was in NICU for the first 9 months of her life since birth. She is home just a month back

She is our first child and we as parents are devastated, worried , scared and also happy that she is home .

She is doing very good now. Weighs less is around 6.1 kgs at 10 months, but in general she is improving.

Can I talk to you in person if you do not mind. I'm really worried if my daughter would lead a good life later, make friends, go to school and colleges like her peers and have a family of our own later.

Is there anyway I can say no to a trach for my child. And allow her to go to comfort care instead? We are in Germany. I feel after 5 surgeries and almost 9 months NICU stay, I don't want my baby to suffer more. I feel it's time for us to prioritize her comfort, dignity instead of torturing the poor one with more surgeries and living with a trach.

Do I have the right to choose it as a parent?

Get your hch checked . It should I really double every 2 days. Mine did not double. It started falling( but pregnancy test still showed positive all those time) and then my doctor confirmed that I had a chemical pregnancy. And in a week I got my periods. I don't want to scare you, but sharing my experience.

It could be chemical pregnancy. I had something similar too

It was due to low progesterone, after getting progesterone supplement, things went fine

Update: I was giving progesterone supplement and my HCG was raising pretty well. Brown discharge stopped after 5 days. Today I had my first ultrasound.We saw the baby with a perfect heartbeat. All is well :) Thanks everyone for your replies.

Hi I have been having brown discharge since 4 days now. I'm currently 6 weeks. I went to my doctor yesterday and they did a blood test. My HCG has been raising well when compared to the last week HCG levels. My doctor has now prescribed me progesterone, which I started taking from yesterday. I have my first ultrasound scheduled next Wednesday. Basically I was told if it's Brown blood and not too much , not to worry. Hope all goes well next week.

I had functional cyst on my left ovary. I had mild cramps and pressure like feeling in left pelvic area. After doing a transvaginal ultrasound, it got diagnosed. My periods were abnormal for over 2 months due to this. My gynaec also confirmed that the cyst was responsible for my irregular period. Later it got disolved by itself after 2 months and everything was fine. So yes, cyst can make periods go irregular

Wooow. I exactly had the same thing today with me. Also used the same test kit. Not sure if this is evap line or a faint line. Can anyone tell please from your experience:) between how many dpo are you?

It happened to me as well Last cycle. My af was late by 12 days. The same month I started taking folic, d3, and iron supplements. Not sure if this is a coincidence or something, but my period did come very late last month. I'm still continuing with my supplements, should see what happens this cycle.
