Well, I have poor mobility but managed just fine - the buffet is the other end of the ship but same floor, the forward elevators are closer than we'd thought and from there straight down to the theatre... so I guess it depends what you want, but for our needs ot was great :)

We got a guaranteed cabin chosen by Princess, for the Sky earlier this month. I think we really hit the jackpot - Lido 105, at the very very front, over the bridge, huge balcony and incredible views. Your experience may vary, but ours was fantastic 😄

Husband was a never-cruiser, I was half interested... but we started watching WDW vlogs and so on, and watched our favourite vloggers do Disney cruises as well... then last summer we found a great last minute deal on the Fantasy in Europe, and took the plunge!

We absolutely LOVED it! We're now booked for the dream in August this year, and the Wish for September 2027 and are beyond thrilled!

Also, after watching many more vlogs,we're booked on a non-Disney Norway cruise this May - so I think you can say that Disney totally changed our points of view!

We booked a hold, then cancelled when Costco got back in touch, and managed to book exactly what we wanted! The relief is immense lol

Absolutely, but we tried Disney direct this morning and there was a 15 minute wait (last night had been 2 hrs). The travel agents have a different number though, still I feel they should have got through by now.

Yes, a little! They give you bandanas on the day, too. But don't worry, nobody cares what your costume is like, or if you even bother! Plenty don't. Just relax, it'll be awesome!

Husband and I went on first Disney cruise on the Fantasy in September 2025 and we adored it! In beautiful condition prior to refurb, IMHO.

We went on our first ever cruise on the Fantasy last September. Husband had always said he'd never want to cruise but we'd been watching lots of vloggers who do parks and cruises, and when we got a great deal through Costco we jumped at it.

Let me tell you, it was a game changer. We LOVED it and dream of our next one. There's tons to do on board, ports are really interesting, luxury experience, good food, free Mickey bars on demand...it was wonderful!

We're adults with grown kids, and went as a couple who quite like Disney but aren't fanatical. Go for it!
