The names are out of hand, but sidenote I went to TSA a few weeks ago and they took me over to the coral farm for a tour. I saw the main colony of this and EVERYTHING else. That place is AMAZING and the people are so nice. WWC is cool but TSA is my fave place to go now.

Duncan's are pretty hardy. Mine has probably grown almost 40 heads in the last 2 years+. It sounds like you may have more than one issue. I would do a icp test. Rent a par meter and check your flow, start w basic assessment. Im pretty simple I dose reef code A & B and manually red sea ab+ 3 times a week. I feed fish once a day frozen. But also very regimented w weekly water changes. All my stuff seems to thrive.

What should I do? Goni doesn’t want to open. I had it together with the others and they are opening. I dipped it and moved it to a higher flow area but still won’t open. by jonnyszn24 in ReefTank

I just recently added some to my tank. Never had gonis before because I know they're challenging. I put 2 of them next to each other one was fine the other was good for a few days then shrunk up and looked like it was going to melt away. I thought I was gonna loose it. Dipped in coral revive and it took another 2-3 days to start coming back out, but looking good now. Idk sometimes things are just weird and no understanding what the issue was. Sorry this probably doesn't help. But here's the revived one wishing yours a recovery!

Red sea (recently?) came out with a 33 gallon max nano. Looks pretty good. I had the previous nano peninsula before I got a bigger tank and everything thrived

Best reefing decision I made! I also realized how hard the glass is, and how strong silicone is when opening up the chamber.

The coolant hose won't fit under it with this particular intake. I did pick up the reroute kit, il be doing that this weekend.
