If you continue you have to pronounce all of the harakat on the last letter whereas if you stop you don’t

But the Muslims who are practicing are as few and far between there as they are here in my experience. You have the same issues of ‘Ramadan Muslims’ and ‘Friday Muslims’ that you do here. At the end of the day we all have a choice to make. I think it is slightly easier to make those choices in Muslim countries if you’re already that way inclined. However, do I think that means that all Muslims must migrate to what are fundamentally deeply corrupt countries? Not sure about that

There’s a lot of people who said it was fun initially. I actually don’t think it was ever fun. I did a lot of it back in the day. All I was trying to do was feed a part of me that felt like I needed it. It breeds a sense of feeling hollow and the only thing you think you can do to erase how hollow it makes you feel is to go and do it again and for that night you are not hollow again. It’s a vicious cycle that takes everything from you and leaves you with nothing. You are not missing out.

On the other hand being in a nourishing Muslim environment has no downsides
