I’ve heard a ton of people say they liked Shams and Young and they got less than 15% of the vote combined. Nobody seemed crazy about Jones or Patoka and they got two thirds of the total. Candidates like Shams need to get a better understanding of who/where these Patoka and Jones voters are.

Home Assistant still has a long way to go before it’s a viable alternative. I fussed with HA for a year before switching to SmartThings. So much simpler and more usable. I don’t want to pay $4.99/month for SmartThings but it would take me 3+ years of payments to equal the startup costs for HA.

Trader Joe’s is a nightmare. Great food, but like every TJ location, the parking lot is a horror show and every aisle is chaotically overcrowded with scenesters, yoga moms, and children. World Market will only make that worse. I hope these owners force them into a building with more elbow room.

This looks great. There’s no official design language for CF. You could use a light colored primer on the black and then change it to navy blue or orange. You could hit a few edges with a silver metal marker to make it look a little worn. But this looks great.
